    Don't look at the news.

Try to enjoy the warm weather and stay away from headlines, news sites and the television news.

It's not your fault. Any of it.

Well, the interview went fine but I'm not sure I want the job. (Won't know for at least another week, though). I might decide I am retired, I think :D

Don't worry too much about sleep, AO. We have a luxurious celing fan in our room, but it's still more difficult to sleep in the summer.

Squishes to all, and support to anyone who is finding all the current news difficult (I think we all are!) ~~~~~~

    Afternoon my lovelies,

Hugs and squishes and handshakes all round. Extras for the MIA's.

Hope you have the lovely weather I have got. Very shaky start as it was spitting with rain and horrible grey clouds.

Left the back door for the AC and went down to find him led out on the grass in the shade. Hope he has not had too much sun. Brought him for a while.

I have been watching make up tutorials on youtube. And now feel total inadequate. Like a 5 year old playing her mums makeup. I just seem to lack in that sort of area, hair, makeup, being slim. My foundation always seems to go orange. That looks like its due to my oily skin. It never look flawless. I reckon a 5 year old could do better than me.

Just stuff two magnums down my throat as I feel so rubbish.

    Penguin end

Still getting use to my smart phone. One good thing about it I can track how many miles I walk with AC.

Need to walk to the shop to replace what I have just ate so AM does not.

Everyone take care and enjoy the weather but keep safe. Drink plenty of fluids.

    Yours

    Calley X

A quick ola from Seville where I have decided that I am far better suited to the Mediterranean lifestyle of siestas and evening strolls although 39C is pushing it slightly. Catch up properly with everyone next week.

If theres a MAC counter in neardy department stores (or other make up stands) they sometimes do tutorials for free. I had no idea what i was doing with makeup, until Swain persuadedme to let someone do my makeup. She did an amazing job and talked me through each step and i now feel a lot more confident wearing makeup. I'm still not great at it but i can at least do the basics now :)

Spent today buying fathers day presents and brothers 21st presents, the meal on sunday has come around quick! had a word with my mum about dress codes ad she told me there are non and not to be worrying about it. Still nervous of Swain meeting them, i just hope it goes ok and they accept him into the fold. Ohh both my sisters have gotten tattoos! Mum texted me pictures but i've been told not to bring it up around my dad as he;s really not keen on tattoos (mum seems to have mellowed about them though)

elsien, my friend that lives a bit north of Malaga posted a picture of her thermometer showing 41C today with a comment of "scorchio" :rotfl: . Like me, she loves hot weather, but have to admit over 40 is a tad warm even for me!

Do you actually like make-up, calley, or do you just feel like you should wear it? I missed the whole experimenting with make-up stage and was utterly awful at it when I tried it later on. I don't bother at all now. I'm sure many would argue that I have a face that requires it, but !!!! 'em.

What happened to your nursing job? Did you throw the towel in??
  • Don't look at the news. Don't listen to the radio. None of this is the fault of anyone here.

Why would it be the fault of anyone here??

Depends on the woman, I'd think. Some look fine sans make-up, but a lot of them do let themselves go.
