    Afternoon my lovelies,

Hugs and squishes and handshakes all round. And extras for anyone who wants them.

WaS your BIL is a dumbass!!!!

Sorry to hear that so many have work woes. Hope they are sorted soon.

Well been busy. Spent the weekend sorting out AM's house. Got some stuff sorted. A couple of tip runs and a charity shop run as well.

Then I sorted out and tided up our bedroom on monday as my bed is going to be stored and AM's coming here to be used. Then in 4 years times I get my bed back with a new mattress as AM's will be 8 years old and neither of us lightweight so will need a new bed.

Even put together a little book case. Its not level as wobbles a bit :rotfl::rotfl: not sure what I did wrong. I followed the instructions!!!!

Am's sofa is going to husband and I have back the sofa from Husbands here as a stop gap. As the one here has no fire labels it so old

Anyway might get shouted at this evening. As AM has put me on his car insurance and he is going to let me drive tonight ummmmm not driven for months. His car has no handbrake in the middle of the console by the gear stick!!! Is an automatic one ummm not sure on that.

Yesterday I seemed to spend cleaning and prepping for our valentines special meal. As due to TA and stuff it was yesterday not tuesday.

I was well chuffed managed to cook steak the way we both liked and I even spent time yesterday to make chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. He liked dessert so much took a photo and put it on face book :rotfl:

Need to go and do something else now. Not sure what. But AM's parents are helping to move stuff down here on sunday so want to have a bit of a tidy up. I am allowing a bit of lee way with everything at the moment. But once in properly I will tighten up a little bit.

Anyway everyone have a nice evening. I may be back later LOL!!!

    Yours

    Calley X

Am currently waiting (again) for a call from my boss. The 'early afternoon' call yesterday arrived at 5.10pm, by which point I was already on my way home. Have already had to send some emails today that he won't be happy about so, as always, am absolutely dreading speaking to him.

Is it out of the way yet, tea?

  • Today has just been horrible. I've only been hired for 30 hours pw and did over 7 today as we were rushed with 'new clients'.

I have nooooooo idea about how to generate letters and I am hoping the sick lady (cold, chest infection, vicious drug reaction and d+v) gets off her sick bed soon as I'm up to my armpits in files.

I've got a long To Do list and 4 hours 10 minutes in which to get it all done.

    I'm getting ready for bed.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

I was able to finish work early, got my timesheet signed, delivered it to the Personnel office, inspected the house, met a neighbour who invited me for tea and a biscuit (I accepted. I don't like tea), and we chatted for an hour, I left, chatted briefly with another neighbour who complimented me on my weight loss, walked into town after popping into a discout store, popped into Boots (they didn't have my prescription ready) and my phone pinged.

I had a reminder about a comedy gig I'd forgotten about.

I got home, had a bite to eat, transferred cash to the builder and asked for some changes to the kitchen plans and now I'm off to get ready for the gig. In Birmingham.

It was a lovely Spring like day and I even got my sunglasses out briefly.

    Good day today

    That was an experience.....

Tom Walker, a political comedian, played "Jonathan Pie Live".

Imagine Jeremy Paxman, standing in for a sick John Barrowman, afflicted with Tourette's, suffering a mental breakdown and custody issues with his divorced wife, in front of a Children In Need audience with interruptions from Tim, his producer and director and updates to camera about the grand total.

It was a weird set up. We even played along clapping on cue.

It was very funny and thought provoking. Along the way taking verbal flying kicks at Brexit, The Guardian, the Left, the Right, Donald Trump, political correctness and individual politicians. Lots of very naughty words, though.

Never heard of the guy before, but will look out for him in the future.
