Thursday night is training night.
"Next week we're doing Stop the Dog with other dogs in the room. Who shall we put with Gitdog? He'll flatten Maisie, he'll just want to play with Reggie and Woody, and Floss wants to kill him...ok, let me think about it...."
What is this strong sense of trepidation that is now hovering over me?

Can the world cope with a Gitdog-pupil as well as a Gitdog? :eek:

Too early to start worrying, but our contract is going out to tender. There are changes in what is being tendered which mean it will impact on the team whatever happens, including various team members being TUPEd in different directions.
My biggest worry is that home working may no longer be an option which would probably make the job not do-able any more.
*pushes worry to back of mind till there's something more tangible to go on*

On the positive side, at least I now have my qualifications.

Oh what a pain. Definitely good that you have the qualifications in place. Hopefully you will have some more idea of what is happening soon. Have everything crossed that things turn out the way you would like.

TUPE is when another organisation takes over from your existing one and is meant to protect your existing terms and conditions for a certain length of time. Not sure if the homeworker status would be protected, one of the things I need to check, but it can be changed later.

I looove the idea of a Gitpup - now how to persuade parent this is a great idea??

Hopefully, seeing as a lot of companies are heading towards having more people home working, they'll keep it in place. I know it's a lot easier said than done but try not to worry too much until you know what's going to happen but work out a contingency plan now for worst-case-scenario and then hopefully you're covered.
