An engineer may be able to fix your washing machine, calley!
The machine is about 10/11 years old.
so not worth it unless its a really easy fix. Found one on AO 10kg for £299!!!
So might have to just bite the bullet

Morning peeps, how is everyone today? I have a HUGE amount of work to get through, so obviously am pootling round the internet and procrastinating about procrastinating.0

Do you need one with that big a drum Calley? You could get a 7 or 8kg for a lot cheaper.
I love that word tea - Pootling! :rotfl:
It's warm here today! How long is this heat wave meant to last for?0 -

Now looking at the massive whiteboard filled with stuff to do on one project (a colleague and I had a "let's design this how we're going to do this" session one afternoon last week and the empty 6'x8' board is now full of text in various colours  ), and deliberately ignoring the other whiteboard of other projects which we haven't decided how to implement yet.

Take photos of your whiteboards, ono. If you are anything like us you will accidentally rub something crucial off it at an inconvenient moment.
Our decorating is delayed partway through, partly due to the main man's mh issues. Not too worried about this because it will be excellent. (I have had moments when I have had some spiralling down thoughts but that has been due to tiredness and I have been able to ride it out).
Money is worrying me at the moment. I can't seem to get to grips with it. At one point all my direct debits were coming out at the same time but we have changed suppliers etc and now it is all over the place. It is hard to keep track of it. DH is much better but still prone to spending small amounts at inconvenient moments. I am at the stage that I am putting off dealing with it.
Loving the sunshine.

I can sympathise with that WW. I got paid in the middle of the month for years (weird French system lol), and FOH got paid weekly. I knew when the direct debits had to go out and it all made sense to me. Now I have just one income at the end of the month, so on paper it's simpler but it's been confusing me for over a year now.onomatopoeia99 wrote: »How are you today, and how was the ice cream supper?
The ice cream was good... cookie dough makes everything better.
I have felt better tbh, but I'll live. I have been incredibly stupid and it's all blown up in my face but I absolutely only have myself to blame so there's no point feeling sorry for myself (ice cream dinner aside of course!)
I have three 4 day weeks coming up so will focus on that and not on the big mess of things I have made yet again.0 -
Morning All,
Sorry that a lot of people are having a hard time of it, you can all have massive hugs and loads of cake - our afternoon tea went very well and there are tonnes of leftovers so take your pick from coffee eclairs, mini victoria sponge, scones (with jam and clotted cream) or a chocolate brownie raspberry cheesecake layer thing.
Calley, I know it's really not going to help at the moment but please try to remember that it really is him not you and you're still every bit as lovely as he made you feel when it was going well.
Tea, 4 day weeks are lovely so it's definitely better to focus on that rather than dwelling on other things. If you need to have a rant about any of it though you know where we are.
WW, is it possible to get some of the new suppliers to change your DD date? I always try to have mine go out as close to payday as possible but there are a couple of rogue ones which surprise me every month, despite them having been in place for years...
Can someone please tell me if I'm being overly sensitive or if IzHe's mum's being a bit rude? - when she comes to stay she tends to lay out on the settee in a way that means nobody else can sit on it. We only have one other comfy chair so IzHe tends to sit in that and I end up feeling like I'm being pushed out of my own home and potter around doing stuff rather than ending up perched on one of the dining chairs and feeling awkward.
I mentioned it to IzHe last night, with strict instructions that I didn't want him to say anything to her as I don't want her to feel like she can't relax, and his reaction made me feel like I was making a fuss over nothing.0
