I am so pleased that you were able to go, Georgie. I waved at Fred yesterday and thought of your dad.
Funnily enough, WaSp has been looking for possible clubs. There is also a photography competition here running for the next few months that he is interested in, I am so happy for him that he has time for a hobby now. He has a few hours a day just to walk along the canal bank with his camera and not think about anything, it makes him feel so much better. He leaves me a flask of tea and some snacks so he knows I don't have to move and he can just relax on his own. He is also a very good photographer and getting better all the time which we are both proud of!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Perhaps WaSp would like to enter the Countryfile photo competition?
The Countryfile Photographic competition is now open for entries. The theme of this year’s contest is ‘From Dawn Till Dusk’ and Countryfile wants to see your pictures of the British landscape, its wildlife and its inhabitants, captured at dawn, at dusk, and all hours in between.Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0 -

A friend of my Dad's who was in his camera club won that Country File competition! I keep on saying I'm going to enter but never have. You'll have to post some of WasP's shots up sometime (if wants to of course) as I'd love to see them.
