Meant to say - some places I've hidden things:
- in a pillow case in the airing cupboard
- underneath a bedside cabinet
- behind a bath panel (don't ask!)
- inside a suitcase in the spare room
- between books
- at my mum's house!0 -
Tea, am now seeing a cartoon uterus with a wicked, evil smirk on its face, riding a WMD, going "bruahahahahaha!"

Lambyr,
I really love this line:
Spiteful fingers caress my brain.
I'm going back to read the other posts after your poem now.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

my uterus seems intent on world domination.
If it's any consolation, there's probably someone sat in a room frantically bashing away at a keyboard, pulling their hair out (if they have any left!) trying to get your database working again. I inherited the systems admin of the database one of our products depends on and it is the most enormous stress, as if it falls over the phone calls start in a few minutes and they don't stop!Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -
Oops sorry ono! Hope that wasn't too much of a scare to read :rotfl:.
Yep, am sure that it's being worked on, and am being good about not chasing it up again (for now!) as I know how annoying that can be. Just frustrating as I have a HUGE project to get done (huge as in.... wake up in panic about it most nights kind of huge) and I can't do a single thing without the flipping database.
Ah well.... more time for tea0 -
Morning Shipmates,
Hugs and squishes and handshakes all round. Any one seen fly?
lego man is coming round at 12. Going to cook for himI will try not to poison him :rotfl:
I did have a panic yesterday as did not hear from him in 19 hrs. I know that is not a long time. but for someone who texts me every morning etc. I was very good and sent only two texts. Turns out he had not slept properly as he is on nights at the moment. Me heart did sink as its has been about two weeks. And thats what ex use to do run off after 2 weeks. So you can imagine how I felt. I did reason with my self that he might have lost or left his phone at work. or just really busy. But you know which side won out!!!! So was unsettled most of yesterday. And started to talk a lot of my rubbish to myself. Like told you so why would anyone want a relationship with you type stuff.
I have kept my MH issues out of the mix. So he has no idea. He still does not believe me when I say that I am shy :rotfl:
I am off on barge trip tomorrow with husbands stroke group tomorrow. And lunch out that will only be the 3rd time this week and the 1st time I will have paid this week
And have an entire weekend to myself. Lodger is off up north to see family. And lego man is back off home as its fathers days this weekend to see his family.
I know that this weekend will be tough for lots of people due to it being fathers day. So I will be in the fort on hand with lots of duvet snuggles and hugs and handshakes and squishes. With lots of cake and some very nice soft drinks.
if I had been drinking at the time I had read Teas post about her uterus I would have spat it out all over my laptop :rotfl:Mind you pyxis and ono's replies made laugh out loud :rotfl:
Everyone take care.
