  • Calley, it was the way your ex treated you that led to your anxiety, there is no reason to believe that as long as Lego Man continues to treat with care and respect that things will be the same. Lego Man isn't your ex, he sounds far more stable and happy to spend time with you. This does sound like a very healthy relationship so far which is exactly what you need, once you feel secure and sure that you won't be hurt again all of those anxieties will slip away and you can then start enjoying being treated as you always deserved to be.

On the subject of cuddlies it's about time I added to my Giant Microbes collection. I want an E.Coli or chicken pox next because they're cute. I am aware how weird that sentence sounds...

    How's MRSA doing? :D

Get the chicken pox, WaS. Littlewing had chicken pox this year.

I love the knitted uterus best.

I need to get out to form an objective opinion. Do up and wait to sell, do up and rent out or just get rid.

I've had dreadful offers for the place (£15k to £25k), the house and its problems are overwhelming and I've hit a point where I can't see the wood for the trees.

If I wrench myself out of it and literally change my point of view, I hope to be able to make a more rational decision rather than just sit in this dump procrastinating and going round in circles.

The flat is newly done up (one of four in an old, converted, detached house), in a much nicer area and the living area faces onto a lovely park.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

thanks guys.. I'm a dizzy Rascal! Ginger.. it's awful isn't it? it's like being really drunk but without the fun, not that I really remember, it's been a long time since I had a drink! . I'm rewatching Orange this eve to recap for season 4 next week.. it's is poignant and often sad, but I like that the characters are all so human.colourful and vulnerable... I like seeing their back stories, to understand where they're at.. most of the girls had dysfunctional families.. I can relate with that.. I'm lost for things to watch, I've done Better Call Saul and Sons of Anarchy.. I love being able to binge watch lots of episodes.. My faves are def american crime dramas .
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)

I love American crime dramas too.

I like British crime dramas too but prefer the american, probably because they are further away!

I've done it! I've actually built myself a website. That's the most productive I've been in some time!

We'll have to see whether I can motivate myself to keep it updated. :rotfl:

I like to binge watch TV shows too, faerie. Recently finished Breaking Bad (years after everyone else, I know!). Currently working through Deadwood, though five episodes in and it hasn't grabbed me yet. Took a while for me to get into Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, The Shield and a few others though so I'll stick with it for now.
