I'd be running for the hills with that one Calley! :eek:0

If he's chucking that into a first short conversation, then it's going to be a big deal to him. So unless it's a viewpoint you share and want to hear a lot more about then don't go there. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

It was out first proper phone conversation. I think he is also struggling with the relationship I have with my husband.
We have been texting. Maybe I was silly to give him my phone number so early.

Ok, here's something practical I could use some help on. Since I turned 36, I've been feeling frumpy and middle aged. I don't know why. 36 isn't much different to 35 and my wardrobe is largely the same so why do I feel ancient and does anyone have any suggestions to help me feel like the teenager I obviously am?
I always felt my thirties were my best years, as opposed to my twenties.
Past caring now! :rotfl:
Look at it this way...........while you, or anyone for that matter, can still post a :rotfl: or aor a

ThanksYeah, it's really cool, and I'm so glad my Dad is being honoured and remembered for something that was his whole life and that gave him such pleasure.
Popped round to my Mam's before, and she was looking abit strained. She's not so much worrying about having to get up and present them, but whether or not she'd an keep it together or not. I feel the same, but I've told her that people always feel they can't do it, but when it comes to it in situations like this, you find the strength from somewhere.
I'm sure we've all attracted men like that in the past lol! Hope your other date goes well.0 -
Code, can't think of any advice to offer sorry, but I know that feeling well.
Half the time I'm still dressing like an art student, so maybe that's my way of feeling like a teenager again! :rotfl:

PENGUIN for Calley re religion and dating:
I am a practising Christian and in my book that guy is over the top with his 666 business. He could be a Jehovah's Witness or possibly Seventh-Day Adventist. They are pretty strict and also have some weird ideas about technology. This is itself of course is no reason not to go out with him, but be prepared for him to talk about his religion in great depth and, if your relationship continues, to expect you to join it. Good luck in whatever you decide.

SDW,
Penguin Religion and dating
I have no idea what branch of Christianity he belongs to. But he uses facebook and was on a dating website so he is using the internet. And said he would never set foot inside a church.
As I said I have no issue with anyones religion as long as they don't try and ram it down my throat.
I have my reason for not believing. Even though I went to a C of E primary school.
Penguin end
I think I will give it a pass. As I still working on my mental health and really don't need anything to complicated at this moment in time.
