I like you very much indeed, WaS, even if I only know you online.

Good morning, pyxis! Good morning, everyone. Blue skies and sunshine here today as I wait for DH to bring my coffee in.

Yes, we've had a lot of sunshine over the past few weeks, even though it's been cold and interspersed with rain/wind/hail! :rotfl:

  • Morning all :)

Am sorting out my camera for tonight. I don't know if anyone can remember me saying, but the Photographic Society my Dad was the President has made a trophy in his memory. So it's The *insert Dad's name here* memorial trophy, and it's getting presented tonight at the awards dinner (along with others) and my Mam and I are invited along. They've asked my Mam to present it to the winner (it's for Landscapes) and they said whilst she is there, she might as well present all the other trophies as well lol!

    That's wonderful Georgie.

I had a really weird dream that would have been a great story idea (like the dystopian serial killer zoo) but it's drifted away from me now I'm awake :(

We had more snow yesterday. It fell overnight and lay. It had all melted by mid morning but still. It's almost May!!

Going shopping later with my latest £5 bounts voucher. In profit now so the vouchers feel especially gifty :j

  • We had a tiny bit of snow. Well I say snow, was heavy for about 5 mins, sort of laid and then melted just as fast.

I haven't got any bounts points for days now, really must get that sorted. Yay for being in profit now! Hope you treat yourself to something nice!

I've been rubbish at getting points recently Georgie. The rubbish weather hasn't made me want to go outside much. Voucher is for the supermarket so will spend it on Pepsi Max and pringles (if they're on special offer :rotfl:).

Ok, here's something practical I could use some help on. Since I turned 36, I've been feeling frumpy and middle aged. I don't know why. 36 isn't much different to 35 and my wardrobe is largely the same so why do I feel ancient and does anyone have any suggestions to help me feel like the teenager I obviously am?

Edit: it doesn't help that because I am shedding hair like a GSD and started using caffeine shampoo that says for over 40s on it.

    Morning Ship mates,

Hugs, squishes and hand shakes all round:j

Anyway going to penguin this as its about dating and religion.

I have been chatting to this guy on-line and on the phone. Told me he was a christian which is fine. As I see it as what every helps you get through the day and helps you live the best life you can. I am cool with. As long as you don't try ramming it down my throat. Anyway I spoke to him on the phone and now I am slightly wary, with some of the stuff he was saying. Like the www in an internet address means 666 the devil. We were talking about meeting tomorrow. Now I am not so sure. I am just being super cautious. I have asked someone to call me about 20 mins in to the meet up and if its not going well I can make my excuses and leave.

    Penguin end

Anyway got my lodger to some shoveling of gravel this morning LOL!! I held the bags. Done some washing up and clean the kitchen work tops.

Got another coffee met at 4pm today.

Everyone take care and be kind to yourself. As you are the only person who you know will be.

    Yours

    Calley

He seemed ok but when he said that I kind was like umm. I tend to over think everything.

    I think you are right.

I doubt you're overthinking this one, Calley. At the very least it's a strange thing to say before you've even met, especially as you're actually talking online!

Sorry, but I'd steer well clear. :(
