Good morning everyone,
I hope everyone is well. It's been a while.
I returned yesterday evening from my 8 days in Spain. A lovely time was spent with family and friends in the sun, with a book in one hand and a beer in another. I didn't have much time to reminice as I am back to work this morning. The blow of which was softened by me dipping in an out of emails when I was off, so it's not too bad.
I spent slightly more than was budgeted but I think that's due to me under-budgeting as I didn't buy anything apart from food and drink! I think we're going to go again next year, so I'll adjust my budget accordingly.
I've got the physio tonight, which will be £47.50. A spend I'd rather not have but at the same time, I'd also rather not have knee pain! Aside from that, I've nothing planned this evening. I might have an early night, we'll see.0 -
Good morning everyone and happy hump day!
Yesterday, after work, I had the physio which cost me £47.50. Well and truly adding insult to injury. But he is good and I am feeling slightly better. Ultimately, the more exercise/stretching I do on my own, the less I need to see him, so that price tag is plenty of motivation for me to get going - not that I needed it.
No gym this morning as I had another batch of blood tests to give, which will hopefully be my final. This is to see if there's been any improvement on my folic acid levels which we slightly low and might have been causing my dizzy spells. I must admit, I have noticed a reduction in occurrences. So I'll go to the gym after work for a bit then not much else planned. Pork belly with some veg tonight me thinks.0 -
Hope the bloods come back all okay and I'm glad you're feeling better after the physio. Sometimes, as frustrating as it is, you need to spend that kind of money for your health and at least he's good and helping.
Have a good day0 -
Thanks Alicia!! Yeah, that's kind of how I am looking at it. Can' put a price on health and all that jazz.
Good morning!!!
I visited the gym quickly after work yesterday and got home to catch up on the GBBO, have a call with my step-dad and then nod off to bed relatively early.
I've been to the gym this morning which leaves my evening free for watching the football, so I'll plan on leaving work at a reasonable time. I've also got my weekly catch up with my gran, who is on the mend thankfully. I always look forward to our chats, which often last well over an hour taking about everything and nothing. I think she's planning on visiting with my mum in a few weeks, so it'll be nice to see her again.0 -
Good morning and happy Friday!!
I left work sharp to watch the football at home, only to see I misread the kick off time, so I had a couple of extra hours to myself which I spent on the phone with my gran and my mate (separately, of course). By the time the game finished, it was bed time.
Worryingly, my alarm didn't go off properly, so I didn't wake up till 7am. Thus, no gym this morning and a visit post work is required. Aside form that, no plans for this evening, or this weekend as it stands actually. So I think i'll make an effort to be productive with my time. Not sure what that will entail but I'm in that kind of mindset.
Any excuse to make another list!!0 -
At least you have time to relax just a bit in between being productive. Have a good weekend.0

Good morning everybody,
Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
I didn't really get it up to much tbh, which I was absolutely fine with. You know that way where you feel like you need a holiday once you come back from a holiday? I went to yoga, got the shopping in, 2 rounds of washing, drying and ironing, made a salted caramel brownie, made my lunches for the week (Bombay lamb wraps), cleaned the flat, watched lots of sport and enjoyed a long lie. Per-fect.
No gym this morning but I will be going tonight, followed by yoga and an early night. Red eye to London tomorrow with work, so I'll watch my spends - for my sake and the companies. Got my step-brothers and their other halves to commit to secret santa and made the draw over the weekend. I've drawn my step-bro in South Korea, so I'll need to get my thinking cap on.0 -
Have caught up on this from the beginning. An impressive journey you have been on and I like how you’ve taken the approach to your debt and applied it to your wider life.
