  • I am doing prolific academic, ipsos, swagbucks, YouGov (because I started that ages ago) and onepoll. I think that all. Near up to £20 on swagbucks now. Who knew playing with your phone on the loo could be so profitable? :rotfl:
  • Yesterday I sorted out some more hours at work (was originally doing these hours but dropped 2.25 hrs and now able to pick them up again). Also requested an extra 1.5 hrs a week but not holding out much hope. Presented a pretty good business case for it but money in education is so tight I'm not holding out much hope.
  • Bought a present for DS1s birthday. It's not til September but it was on offer and because I used some of my swagbucks Amazon vouchers it cost me...8p :money:
  • Still going. Have spent a little bit here and there that probably could have been avoided but overall doing really well.

Going out for dinner on Sunday as it's our 18th wedding anniversary  You'd get less for murder...

DH has appointment with the neurologist on Monday. Hopefully he'll move towards some form of diagnosis but I'm not holding my breath. It's incredibly stressful and difficult not having any kind of diagnosis or prognosis. Impossible to pace yourself and really hard to apply for benefits etc as he is just in the category of 'not working'. We reckon it's either fibromyalgia or MS. Neither is good.

I've applied for council tax reduction but they want us to send both our passports and driving licenses and all the kids' birth certificates. Through the post. Original documents only. Er. No. I think I'll try and take them to the office and have them scanned.
  • One of the spends was a theft proof backpack for DD as she's going to Rome in July. Used swagbucks vouchers so it cost me £9. Added in a really nice notebook for £3.50 to take it over the free delivery amount. I am gojng to save it for (don't laugh) Christmas for DD. She loves stationery of all kinds. First time I've ever bought a Christmas present before November!
  • Next swagbucks voucher - M&S this time as I need some new knickers. Will only pay £2 for 5 pairs and can get them delivered to the foodhall by work.
  • Survey progress:
    Swagbucks £25
    Onepoll £9.40
    Prolific academic £1.38
    Populus £2
    Opinion outpost £1.25
    YouGov - not much!

How did OHs appointment go? Hope you got some idea of how to go forward.
    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
  • Happy new knickers :D. I only ever cash out for Amazon vouchers on Swagbucks and let them build in the account for Christmas. Hadn’t thought of getting M&S Xx
    Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
Best win so far - holiday to Florida
  • DH's appointment was useless. No diagnosis, no prognosis. Very frustrating. Not MS, not MND and not Parkinson's. Apparently it 'might be fibromyalgia' but they reckon no-one is diagnosing it much at the moment. So neurology a dead loss, neurosurgery a dead loss. Back to GP? Who knows. He's very, very low as a result. Still in terrible pain and having muscle spasms etc. Can't even really think about it all, it's all too !!!!. Told not to expect PIP. Blue badge application done.

Anyway, new pants exciting (ok, they're not but I've got to get my kicks where I can) :rotfl:

Surveys still chugging along nicely, totals have all gone up a bit. Cocked up the money this week by about £20 as thought universal credit was 4 weekly (like child benefit and tax credit ) but it's monthly. Had to borrow £20 to get through and my car was running on fumes.

Anyway, UC arrived today and I've finished paying for France holiday and allocated all of it on my budget. All good. Pay day next week and we're on half term. No real plans, DD is away for a few days and the boys just want to chill so expect I'll do housework etc. Nice to catch up with it all :D
