Well done you for doing a very worthwhile job. :A:A No need to apologise, Nanny, that isn't a soapbox just telling it from experience. I do understand the constraints/cuts etc. It sounds like you had regular slots for your clients (please, nobody misconstrue that). Dads were never regular slots but on a when they arrive basis. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for their appointments schedule. For my reasoning, to cut down on travelling time, you would go from A to B to C as in the next nearest appointment. This wasn't so. They would come from the town five miles away to see to Dad, return to the town and then come back to the village to attend to someone who lived near Dad. This added about 30 minutes to their visit, times that by four times a day. When I asked why, I was told that this is where the agency told them to go. I asked if it was because medication had to be given and was told it wasn't as their time slots were not always the same. In this example, nearly two hours a day were being wasted due to ill thought out timetables.
It is because all the carers will be working to full capacity and probably one of the other slots was already in place before your dad needed care and had to be fitted in. Unfortunately it is then difficult to change times for other people already in the system. Your dad may have taken a slot of someone who no longer needed care who may have lived closer to the other person originally. They just don't have enough slack to rework the routes etc, so it just gets worse.0 -

we had a short break in the lakes in March 2015 and whilst we were there I had a look-see in the charity shop in Windermere. I found a gorgeous dress which needless to say was the wrong size
so it has been on my wish list for nearly a year.
I have various saved searches on ebay and anything new that matches the description of things on my wish list I get updates for.
I was doing a mass email delete the other week I can across a listing for the exact same dress so I put in a bid and won :j
so finally I got my dress :j
Its not this listing but this is the dress - less than a fiver and size 14 and finally I had the courage to try it this morning and it fits wonderfully :j
This sort of straight up and down shift dress suits my shape and I like the bold colours and patterns

so now I need some styling tips please - its such a striking dress it is not going to be an easy task.
I've got a little bolero type cardigan which is the right purple but it has 2 buttons at the front so its not quite right.
I've got a purple short sleeved nipped in jacket but its not quite the right purple.
also a winter pea jacket, 3/4 sleeves, 3 big black buttons, the right orange - this would be fine for winter usage
and the inevitable black jackets - I think this might have to be the safest solution or possibly if I get a black pashmina ...
Yes it will be a cruise dress“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

drat, wish I'd thought of doing that
I tried originally to put the app onto my ipad but it would not take it as I've not updated the IOS yet - so no point even trying to put it onto my ancient iphone 4 not the fancy s version.
so my app is on OHs Samsung. He also has COS - same issue - but this means that my code is on the app so I cant get it until he returns from the front
Just checked my email and its not included in the welcome email either
it also means I have to sign out of his facebook account, sign into mine and only then can I do the referral bit
I can check my account on line though and it says already I've been paid £5 - 3 free items - one very long receipt needs to be redone“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Mhoc, I think with those colours you need a jacket in a completely contrasting colour, no point in trying to match any of the colours because a slight mismatch will stand out like a sore thumb. The black pashmina will be perfect and will go with anything.
That said, I hope you can wear it without a jacket because it will stand up so well on it's ownWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Morning. I've pm'd you as I'm not sure where the referral board is.
Also if you are buying in waitrose the green and blacks is on the pyo offer, so you could get an extra 40p back if you choose that as one of your offers.
All the best.:)0 -

Love, love, love cruising. Princess cruise with DD on the Royal Princess last year and it was my fave cruiseline so far. But to be honest never had a bad cruise.0
