Muller Corners are on 8 for £2 in M. Only Muller Corners though - Lights and Rices are 6 for £3. Wonder if they will pick up an '8 for...' offer, in due course, on the APG:think:.
I did have an attempt at Chrisv's 'visible trigger' approach against T. I would have been happier with a price and OOS on msm on the 'visible trigger' as the '---' suggests it has been OOS on a.com for longer than 7 days and therefore won't even appear at all on the APG:(. However, I hit a fundamental problem. Namely I could not even find any of the visible trigger - no stock and no SELs even indicating that they had ever had it - in my As. That's the problem sometimes - if a 'trigger' item isn't even available, then it cannot be used as a trigger item. I obviously do not know if some A somewhere may have the possible visible trigger item - or it may be that A really doesn't have this product and therefore it isn't available to be used as a trigger.
It could be seen, in a day or two's time, if people who are not in NI buy 10 Mullers vs T and include at least 8 Corners within them, whether the M mbuy offer is being picked up amongst the ones they have bought. If it does get picked up - and assuming you want to confine to Corners - then the comp. vs M on 8 only would work out slightly better, on plain 10% cheaper, than 10 vs T. Unfortunately, buying 10 vs M makes them more expensive price than T. The 8 for... mbuy for M fits in nicely with the A offer - if the M mbuy gets picked up (and not just yet;)) - ideally we could do with the A mbuy disappearing altogether online:rotfl:.0 -

I have taken a decision to remove the M&Ms Peanut box, the Thornton's Classic Collection (511g) and the Lindt Selection (445g) (£14:eek: A on that last one) from the M list as I have not seen them in M for so long.
The Thornton's Collection was around in my usual Ms towards the end of last year. It then disappeared for quite a while and then suddenly reappeared in one of my usual stores for about a couple of weeks. This was back in January though and I have not seen it since. I haven't seen the M&Ms Peanut box since just after Christmas. The Lindt Selection has gone from my stores - it was lingering around in one of them and, similarly in a distant store a few weeks ago but seemed to be on its last legs, in terms of only one unit of stock - however I don't know, as they could have restocked of course and brought lots more stock out - but, really, they have been so rare, and I've got to remove some of the clutter from the M list of items that I haven't seen for so long.
If anyone knows any differently about these items, and has any of them in their M, do let me know. TIA.
I've also removed the Oats & Fruit version of the Nairn's Biscuit Breaks (160g) as I haven't seen this version anywhere since I first found it nearly three months ago in one M on RTC. I don't think M have it anymore. I may be wrong - if you know they do, please tell me...
I'm removing both the 600g M own brand peanuts from the list, as the best BB date I ever saw on those (and all packs everywhere seemed to have the same date) was 31 March 2016. So, in theory, they should all be gone now:(. Wish they were there and had a better BB on them.
I now doubt that the Kingsway Cointreau Liqueur Chocolates (120g), that were around at 50p in M just after Christmas, are still available anymore. Again, I am putting out an appeal for those - and for anyone who has them in their M, please to speak now and say so otherwise I will be removing them very soon.
I really doubt that the Thornton's Classic Collection (511g) - or even the Lindt Selection mentioned - are available in M now. I very much doubt they are there and can't see them comparing as they seem unlikely to be anywhere in M. However, you know what happens when I 'very much doubt'... We just need to have someone with a womble on them though to hit the jackpot:rotfl:.0 -

I got some in A Boldon a couple of weeks ago and last week. Still plenty last week as they had put new pallets of bottles (with no vouchers) on top of the voucher ones.
Had to flex the muscles to retrieve voucher bottles. :rotfl:0 -
I've removed the Adidas Shower Gels (250ml) - Ice Dive and Pure Game - from the M list and I'm going to say Avs Sains at £1 on those. I suspect they are still available in some M somewhere - and probably not the same store - likely to be one version in one store somewhere and the other in a different M - but if so they are now lingering on sometime after the RTCs on them. I've lost them from my stores (and I'm varying and including a different store among them each time): a couple of weeks ago, I still had one flavour, but not the other, around in one store - but neither flavour was around in that store the following week and they have both gone from my other Ms. I am not coming across them very often now, although I suspect they are somewhere but they are very rare now it seems. So, I'm going to fudge it by saying not v.good anyway as paying for 250ml of shower gel and 90p net:eek: price at best and by saying Avs Sains.0

It's no good on some of the SELs in my Ms earlier. I have one M which was showing full price on the Harpic Power Plus Tablets for much of their offer period. About a couple of weeks of the offer left, they put the offer price onto the shelf. They are now back up to full price again - although, now, this store still has the offer price showing. So, when it said full price it was the offer price before and, now it says the offer price, it is full price. If you come across an M with £2.24 still showing you may get that (by going vs CS). £2.24 is still not good really:rotfl:. However, they are now £2.50.
I think anyway. Maybe they are £2.24:think:. I had that scanned at the till and was told £2.50 but I still don't trust that either as sometimes staff scan the products at the till and don't look at whether it gives a reduction or not - they do not, it appears, know their own system and do not know that they have to press another button, or not simply do a price query as that sometimes gives full price at the till. I was told £2.50, so as far as I know... But then I had £2.24 on the SEL in two stores (including the one that was wrong before) and £2.50 on the SEL in one other store:think:. Still showing £2.24 on m.com. I don't know: I can trust none of the SELs and can't trust m.com either as that might not have been updated:rotfl:.
I had a Quorn product checked at the till a few weeks ago and the SA told me £1.97 but, later the same day, I came across the item in another store showing £1 and clear offer label until a date that had not expired - so, I didn't trust that the £1.97 I was told was correct and took it as £1 as it clearly is. (It now reckon it comes up on their system as "£1.97 minus 97p" and shows the £1 price. You get that at the SS too when it shows the original price of £1.97 and then the deduction. However, if it is done as a 'price query', it only shows the £1.97 and they have to press something else, I understand, to see the 97p deduction and the actual price. I understand this to be the case, since a supervisor was present on a previous occasion when an SA checked a price and told me it was [some full price] but the supervisor noticed and said "No, you have it to do it this way..." and then, sure enough, a lower price came up.)
So, it's no good... even when I get staff to check at the till, I still can't trust the price they tell me! Why would Store A have changed the SEL on the Harpic product from £2.24 to £2.50? However, that's the same store that sometimes puts items to full price even when an offer has several weeks left to run!
It depends on how the price is programmed into the system. Some products have the offer price but others have it as the full price less a deduction.
I think, on the Harpic Tablets, I will just throw my hands up into the air and shrug my shoulders. "I dunno - no idea!" I thought the offer might be due to end about now, but m.com now has no expiry date to guide me even as to that. I will assume they are off. I will have another look on Wednesday, at in least one different store from yesterday: but I don't suppose I will have any clue there either. Probably end up with £2.24 and £2.50 and have no idea - and won't be able to scan at SS myself as I have scanned too much stuff and had it cancelled in those stores:rotfl: (I don't propose to buy the actual product:eek::rotfl::rotfl:). I can't use a till - as the staff might just price check and say £2.50 when they haven't checked properly if a deduction has come off or not.0 -
They've probably moved it up to £2.50 and but then HQ had a change of mind (that has not yet reached the store) and decided to keep the product at £2.24 - the offer has probably rolled over. It must be a risk from Monday's price collection on the APG though with some Ms apparently having changed to full price (although I have only seen one M that has done that. Same number as I saw on the HE Naked Shampoos/Conditioners when they failed. Btw, it now seems every version of HE 400ml is on £2 except the Dairy Care Naked ones - they are now £3.84!).
I now reckon the offer on the Harpic tablets has been continued - possibly for another week, maybe more - hence the continued £2.24 SEL in the two stores (including the one that was wrongly on full price earlier, but maybe now it is correct not to change the SEL having got it onto offer price). I reckon the £2.50 I was told at the till (in a store that had £2.24 SEL that I didn't trust) was wrong.
I reckon they are £2.24 - however I think from Monday's information, the APG does risk picking up £2.50. It may take until after Wednesday for the situation to settle down in M and, consequently, for the APG to get £2.24 again (assuming: (a) it's ever done so, as it should have done; and (b) that that is the price showing in M generally on Wednesday). I did say it was the usual chaos.0
