TS If you are anywhere near Denton Gt Manchester..The tiles are on a well known auction site for....£15.99/m2.. Pick up only...Or search on line..They can be found cheaper...:D

No where near for me. :(

But thanks for pointing it out, I got googling, just emailed builder with further info as saw them 19.95 m2 elsewhere, not sure where he gets his tiles from but I am sure that's the ones I want now.

    Oh bless him
Don't they also have to include travel time in with their visits too? I can't bear to be rushed now never mind how I would feel if I were old or poorly. Thank goodness there's lots of family ready to stand their ground:o:)

Yes, they do have to include travelling time and I do understand the demands on their time but Dad should have had 4 x 2 hour visits each day. He didn't get it, primarily because they knew that I would be there every day and would take care of him and do the jobs that they said that they didn't have time for. It's the people that don't have family to talk for them that I feel concern/sorry for. Older people just seem grateful for what they receive and most don't want to be a burden on the system.

TM, are you saying that you are not old or poorly?

I am definitely not poorly but you must have a spooky sixth sense MKS...ive just spoken to someone who thought it was my FB birthday.....it's not but I was joking that I was over 100 on FB:rotfl:

    So that's quite old isn't it:rotfl:

Regarding the 1Kg Brown Onions - ignoring the fact that they were some 1Kg Red Onions in Aldi at 25p that appear to have increased in price during their supposed offer period - so disappointed in them about that I am:(:( -

    Wood Farm Red Onions (1Kg)

    Store_16.15px.png
    39p:( 39p / Kg

the 1Kg Brown Onions in A may or may not be working - I have imagined that they would be risky last time, even riskier this time, given the dual pack pricing in M - and even riskier still from the next update - I now have two M stores with only 56p stock (and 56p SEL has been on for some time). What I have in my Ms is irrelevant anyway as it depends what they have in their and they may not have the same. I have some older stock - 28p price-marked packs - in one further store on an aisle end. However, the stock on the main aisle (with longer BBs, obviously) is 56p and SEL 56p. There is no SEL on the aisle end - they wouldn't check the aisle end stock anyway but check the main aisle and get the 56p:(.

So, I think not (even more!). There are still some around in M (depending on store) at 28p - their BBs are obviously shorter - may be best to wait a day or so and see if they have to reduce them further on whoopsie as date due to be up:rotfl:. There are some in "M" at 28p - "M" (in quotation marks) meaning "M in total" - namely the totality of all of their 500+ stores - may or may not be your M(s) - although they are a little more expensive than the Red Onions in Aldi were.

SELs everywhere for me say 56p. You'd seemingly be relying on them finding 28p stock and taking that price-marked price as lowest price they find - and then finding that in at least as many stores from which they have got 56p. They seem to me to take highest price they find sometimes - when the Broccoli months ago was lower in price for me they still got older higher price the first time round.

Of course, it's possible the APG collectors could have had 28p last Monday, 56p last Wednesday but 28p today:rotfl:. But - I doubt it! I have assumed that this is off - as soon as the 56p stock came in, there is the real risk that they would have 56p. It must, surely now, be even less likely to work after the next update.

Rhosy, your strength as a family shines through, seems like your future SiL seems a good addition. As lovely as the trappings are, at the end of the day, the commitment is between the two of them, that's the important part, in my opinion.
