At the end of February I ordered a Lenovo all in one computer online from PC world and collected it instore.

Its windows 10 which is a big jump for me as I have been using Vista and also an iPad and I took it in to my local computer shop (to a guy I have used for years and who is extremely good with computers) and got him to set it up for me, install various programs such as Office etc and generally get it running as I wanted it.

All worked well for a few days and then it started playing up - freezing completely several times a day. Took it back to local guy who did a system restore and re-installed all my extra bits - he thought the problem was caused by a rather large Windows update not installing properly.

Again, all worked well for a few more days - and now the B***** thing has started to freeze again ! The only way to get it going is to pull the plug and then re-start it.

I want to take it back to PC World and get a refund as it just isn't working and there appears to be some basic in-built problem. I can't see that it can be fixed by doing another restore as it didn't work for long last time and I'm really not satisfied that the computer is fit for purpose. I'm out of pocket anyway because I obviously paid the local guy to set it all up.

I reckon PC World will not be too happy to do a refund and am wondering exactly what I have the right to insist on. Its not a month old yet and the troubles started a couple of weeks ago.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Sorry cant help you tbw.

I love windows 10 and have had no trouble with it on my new refurbished lappy.

Well it was new last August lol. :)

I ended up telephone T head office to check and they said meal deal wines were excluded and would add to T&Cs online. Might be worth a try instore for DTD or checking T&Cs instore. I think they put them somewhere.

Oh, just noticed that the T&Cs above say wine route wines which I think are the ones in the meal deal.

Ah, never mind, thanks for checking .... Onwards and upwards :rotfl:

You need to hide them savvy....I know what it's like in your house.....you turn your back for a minute and they disappear:rotfl:

I have hidden them - in some beer glasses behind some deicer cans in the cubbyhole. That they don't go into. Except when they try to take a packet of crisps from the front of there earlier tonight:(. Caught them!:D:rotfl: Unfortunately I did not catch them on the Christmas chocs that I bought, at a very good price from a far-away M and cannot get any more of them at all as never seen before or since and not expected to - they were supposed to last until the middle of the year. They consumed all but one of them earlier:(. I told them - no more, they are in the stuff for middle of the year!
:(They consumed the remaining packet - completely, in full:mad: - and so, the whole lot, gone now:(. I got about one packet of chocs out of the entire lot! Whilst they had five:eek::(:(:p:rotfl:.

I've hidden the Creme eggs - not as valuable as the packets of chocolate though:(. In fact, I've hidden the eggs a little too well, as we've still got lots of them and it's nearly Easter. I reckon we will still have quite a few even after Easter. Although, knowing them, I am not so sure:mad::(:rotfl:. Anyway: they're rubbish inferior excuse for chocolate these days and not proper Creme eggs like they once were!:p

Adding to T&Cs online won't affect what's instore and depends on how the stores you have are displaying the offer. If there's a suggestion from the way in which it is displayed and/or what's written on the labels that the non-offer wines are in the offer, then clear case for DTD:D. (If they don't mention the exclusion you could reasonably assume it was included - maybe depending on how the wines were displayed and in relation to what offer labels etc.) On the proposed addition to online: is that an admission that, up until the point at which that is added, the website is misleading and therefore should never have been in that state (which I presume it now, right at this minute, still is)? If I was mad enough, I'd take a screen copy and post it to the ASA:eek:. Probably decide that, as T's changed it by the time they open up a case, and the 'advertising' is not going to appear in that form again, the case is resolved and therefore closed down:mad::rotfl:.

EDIT: Just noticed (or just read properly) your 'just noticed' comment so that sort of renders pointless the last few lines I've been waffling on in relation to.:rotfl: I'll shut up eh?:silenced:
