If the product is excluded from the TBG then what it means that that you will pay more (than you would at a competitor), therefore to my mind contradicts and conflicts with their "never pay more" claim which is untrue and misleading and should therefore be banned by advertising standards. Do they prominently and boldly promote their "exclusion" alongside their "you'll never pay more" everytime they make that claim? They should do, IMO, and it should be equally as prominent - in other words everytime they should say "you'll never pay more if a product cannot be found then it is excluded" (which is actually a contradiction but we'll let that pass by) so that all customers can know in advance of paying exactly what the scheme is. This unexpected and unusual exclusion clause is not drawn to people's attention in the same way and therefore should be struck out.
And - "unavailable when checked". How can they be "checked" if they are not available?
So basically, there's no arguing with the till system. And especially no arguing afterwards.
If there is to be no recompense after purchase, it might just be better to reject the shop at the till if the total does not match expectation in terms of BG.
Easy enough (for a small targeted shop) to leave a wallet at home etc.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

Obviously, this one is the best receipt from today:rotfl:. Except that it's not. It's still good though, at over £3 - don't worry I'm picking them in order that I think to be the best first and diminishing returns from here on in maybe:( - thanks to some nice items at full prices:).
Bob's my uncle - or Sainsbobs on this case - as they compare cheaper to S (although on a bit of a mixed-up shop). Nothing for us to be buying though:rotfl:.
1x Patak's Tikka Masala Cooking Sauce (450G) £1.78 £1.00
1x Corona Extra Lager (4X330) £5.00 £4.00
They bought the wrong Quorn:(:
1x Quorn Meat Free Vegan Pieces (280G) £1.90 £2.50
as, although there are some £1 in M, this one is N/A (I'm not aware of it in M either - but then I know nothing about anything):
1x Quorn Meat Free Vegan Pieces (280G) £1.90 N/A
This item was nice enough though, contributing 80p vs everywhere:
1x Smirnoff Premium Vodka (35CL) £8.90 £9.00
Nice expensive smoothie, cheaper elsewhere:
Vs T
1x Innocent Strawberry Cherry & Guarana Smoothie (750ML) £3.39 £2.00
Vs the one that counts (S)
1x Innocent Strawberry Cherry & Guarana Smoothie (750ML) £3.39 £3.50:(
Okay, still positive, but...
Vs M - is N/A.
Vs W
1x Innocent Strawberry Cherry & Guarana Smoothie (750ML) £3.39 £1.69
Not my price though:rotfl:. Although they are different flavours, Yazoo Smoothies of same volume are £1 in M. Although that is a 'good' comp. vs W, I benefit from none of it:(. Smoothie obtained for £3.15:(.
So, in that way, the price on the Smoothie in A, even with a 10% guarantee, still benefits A as it still ends up with it, in effect, being sold at £3.15.0 -

If you know he barely slept last night, you mustn't have slept much either:o
Thankyou my lovely.
I'm in a downstairs bedroom and I heard him moving about upstairs at various times throughout the night
Still I'm being positive as he has been his old self for most of the day and has just snaffled a Mars glitchy egg lol. I only got 3 but I have, some little cream eggs too xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

At the end of February I ordered a Lenovo all in one computer online from PC world and collected it instore.
Its windows 10 which is a big jump for me as I have been using Vista and also an iPad and I took it in to my local computer shop (to a guy I have used for years and who is extremely good with computers) and got him to set it up for me, install various programs such as Office etc and generally get it running as I wanted it.
All worked well for a few days and then it started playing up - freezing completely several times a day. Took it back to local guy who did a system restore and re-installed all my extra bits - he thought the problem was caused by a rather large Windows update not installing properly.
Again, all worked well for a few more days - and now the B***** thing has started to freeze again ! The only way to get it going is to pull the plug and then re-start it.
I want to take it back to PC World and get a refund as it just isn't working and there appears to be some basic in-built problem. I can't see that it can be fixed by doing another restore as it didn't work for long last time and I'm really not satisfied that the computer is fit for purpose. I'm out of pocket anyway because I obviously paid the local guy to set it all up.
I reckon PC World will not be too happy to do a refund and am wondering exactly what I have the right to insist on. Its not a month old yet and the troubles started a couple of weeks ago.
Any advice would be appreciated.
If it is faulty, you are entitled to a replacement/refund.
keep to windows 7, by far the best 'current' Windows OS.
PC World aren't happy to do anything customer service related.0 -

I ended up telephone T head office to check and they said meal deal wines were excluded and would add to T&Cs online. Might be worth a try instore for DTD or checking T&Cs instore. I think they put them somewhere.

Oh, just noticed that the T&Cs above say wine route wines which I think are the ones in the meal deal.0
