Afternoon all. Hope everyone is well. LS hope Dd is feeling a bit better today. Bubbs and LEJC how are you both ? Xx
Did I read the pickup moc is same for everyone ie not individual barcode ? Tia xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0 -
:T:T well done
I know someone that did squares , not sure how much square was but they coloured it in when paid that amount and they have done fantastic:T:T
That's a really good idea, that way you can see it reducing regularly. It would also make you think before you spend or order that take away... How many squares could I colour in to that value?
Sorry I missed your post regarding the asti! That darn work gets in the way;)0 -
Hi cjj...I'm still here....I've been at a bit of a loose end today and the computer has been my company...some may say I may have been a little vocal but at least I'm not "in my shell" which sadly has happened quite a bit lately.

The moc looked to me like it would take off £1.90 and in S/W it does. Someone said it takes off £2.05 in T though so they must have re-programmed it
I've used all of mine in S bar one which i used to buy coke zero and another promo bottle of coke in W. It cost £2 in total but my 10% card took it down to £1.62 and the moc took off £1.90 :money:
if they do need price input, they could have bought in T express...0 -

yes some1 did a brand match in sainsbrys ,not sure which works better but ive had a lot of very successful shops in asda with the coke.. i buy 20 normal coke and 10 coke zero use 10 vouchers = -10 x £1.73 (amount they have been told to do a coupon o/r) so after 2 £2 etc comes of and 10 x £1.73 the amount to pay is £12.70 ,but for that you have 30 bottles of coke 20 of which u can recycle all over again.so how im working it out is that after u get ur second lot of free coke u have 50 bottles for £12.70 .hope ive explained all that correctly hth x
You don't seem to be counting the £10 you spent at the start of the process that gave you the 10 mocs to use in the first place. You're spending about £22.70 for 60 bottles
How i would do it is buy 20 coke in A for £20, do 2 BM shops in S (10 coke zero and 9x10p sweets in each). That gives you another 20 bottles and 2x£9.50 BMs.
That way you spent £20 in A, a couple of quid in S and you end up with 40 bottles of coke and nearly your full spend back in BMs. It's almost like cashing in APGs for BMsof near value with 40 bottles of coke thrown in free :rotfl:
Chuck in a cashback item or 2 and you could probably improve it
It's not hugely better than your way, the advantage is there is no chance of the SA over-riding the moc to £1 which they MIGHT do on a rare occasion in AApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

When I met Mr monkey he had a fair few debts that we're getting him down, he couldn't see the end of the tunnel. 2 years later he was debt free and we began saving for our new home.
The advice I would give would be
. Don't look at the debt as a whole
. Make a list of what you owe where
. Look at the worst one for interest first
. Either chip away at that increasing your payment when and where you can or switch to a lower rate...(ie I put my next account xmas sale spend on a 0% interest cc and pay that off instead of monthly payments+ interest to next themselves)
. When that's done work on the next worst offender
. It will take time but you will get there and cross them all off one by one:)
Thanks Mt2m, and well done on getting the debts cleared in 2 years. I'm almost at the end of 2 loans and then I'm starting on the credit cards, which I'm going to try and get paid by the end of the year, then it's the overdrafts. One of the loans was a debt consolidation loan that I took out 4 years ago before building up all the debt again :rotfl: lesson learned :rotfl::T:T well done

I love that idea bubbs, will definitely do something similar as I think that will appeal to dh as wellFinal cigarette smoked 02/01/18

OK... so here's a question....and it's not intended to inflame but more to find out.....and perhaps get a bit of conversation and good banter on the thread.....
if you have 50 bottles of coke...do you drink them quicker than if you had a lesser amount, just because they are there?
I know when we have excesses of things that's usually the case...when it s rice we seem to have an extra pack just because we can....same with the odd bottle of wine and certainly in the days of penny chocs we always had a box open.
So aside from those who glitch to sell on....what do you do with your stashes and how long does it take to use them up...do you have more of something simply because.....
open to all.....
I don't buy in excess anymore unless I know they are going to get used.
I am still using handwash that was free with money off shopping from Sainsbobbs years ago and still using comfort that was free from years ago,
Other than that I haven't got any stash anymore unless they for mum, DS pressies.
Even my toilet paper nearly gone. I did order some TM posted about last week on groupon but never known anyone so slow still waiting for them . Don't think I will order from groupon again . When I spoke on chat yesterday to cs thought advisor was snotty and rude told me will get delivered Monday. I told them isn't it bank hols Monday so probably no post.Don't even know who delivering them.
