    If my maths is right:

    £51 x 75% = £38.25 (actual cost at till before BG)

    £51 - £36 = £15 BG

    £38.25 - £15 = £23.25

    Or approximately £3.88 each

It's tough when you're in the thick of it abailey54 but it is do-able. 10 years ago I had £55,000 of unsecured debt and took out a 100% mortgage. We then went through the recession, I split with my partner and sold the house for negligible profit and battled through but 10 years on I'm debt free other than the mortgage much lower LTV and in turn a better rate) and have a little money saved for the unexpected. There is lots of good advice on threads here; without them I would have been bankrupt and once the mind-change to becoming debt free kicks in as it appears to have done you will find it a positive mission to achieve :-) good luck

:T:T:T well done, i often read dfw board and there are some inspirational people on there:T

    Sounds like my OH...
always says are you coming up ??
that means perching on the edge of the bath so that he can chat.....
I saw one of these home improvement programmes once and a nicely spoken lady was bemoaning en suite bathrooms and said something like "once you have them you might not like them so much.." lol

I really dislike en-suites except as a guest in other people's homes and in hotels, obviously.

At home, I can think of nothing so unromantic as having to listen to one's OH in an en-suite. If I were to build a new house, I'd supply all guest rooms with en-suite facilities and have a luxury bathroom situated some distance from the master bedroom!

Bubbs, hope you are ok, and that you have a peaceful weekend. x

Tweets, things can only get better. x

Rose, there's better advice already been given than I could offer, but good luck and hope things work out. x

Been to DD's to wait for builder who was 90 mins later than his arrival time - must be something in the air today. Anyhow, all sorted and I am free again and at home. So cold today, only 8 degrees here in NW and very dull with no sun seen since last weekend  - it feels like a long time now.

Thanks, im as well as can be expected thanks:) i will enjoy the break of doing not much:p

Oh I'm such a silly billy...I was supposed to go and collect some packages and now its pouring down....will still go to one but not keen :(
I have just done a mad thing and bought my dd2 a lovely (I hope she thinks so ) pressie for her 21st.
I got her and her OH a weekend away in Ibiza on the mayday bank holiday.
It goes out on saturday and back on tuesday and I have just text her to say "try to get the tuesday off" whick I'm sure will be ok . She thinks she's going out for the day .
Its from out local airport and the times are great but I'm sruggling with a hotel.
I wanted three nights AI but can't find anything reasonable and nice.
Pretty crazy pressie from someone with zilch monies but all the others had big pressies and it didn't seems right to just ignore it.
    Any ideas peeps ??
