I got my test last night (second one) and I can answer the questions but like you I look to lots of sources to validate my information - I do think its about the "fun" aspect. How do you inject fun into an answer about couples staying together for their kids?
I didn't worry too much about making my answers "fun". It was more about making them friendly. The guidelines said the answers should be "informative, intelligent, professional, creative, friendly and warm", so that's what I aimed for. Most of my answers were very factual, but I tried to use an informal tone. As for the source, I just picked the main one.
If anyone wants any tips on test 6, feel free to PM me.
Good luck!0 -

Hi All,
Does anyone here work for AQA as their full time job?
I'm just curious how sustainable and lucrative it is on this basis.
Thank you for your time.
Any news Debrag?0 -
Good news atlast. After waiting for a week and a remainder to AQA, I got my application form and test 7. I have to send it back before tonight. I need a few clarifications. I hope somebody can help me(before 8.00pm tonight possibly)
1) I finished my test. Can I go through it again just to check?
2) Do I have to include this time in the test?
3) Did anybody get a question, which cannot possibly be answered within the number of characters limit?(eg. a recipe)0 -

Just sent my 3rd request for a test - 1st got an automated response no test, 2nd no automated response - 3 rd time lucky. Hopefully then I will pass and won't have to wait the however long before textperts have a vacancy despite passing the test - I hear it will be ages.0

Just wanted to point out AQA's policy that we are not supposed to be discussing what we do etc. It may not be a good idea to have people post their questions/answers for other researchers to look at.
As of last week I am no longer an AQA researcher (terminated as I didn't have time to keep it up) so they have no hold over me...;)
If anyone wants to PM for advice/help on test questions on the quiet - feel free.
Cheers

Hi, I was wondering how long it should take for AQA to get back to me after sending them the completed test - I sent it back on the 25th January, and although I appreciate that they're probably busy with applications at the moment, I'm would just like to know roughly how long to leave it before I chase them up.
Pinkydinkydo - never, ever lie like that on a job application. What if they decided to check with the university you've claimed to go to? Or ask you for a copy of your certificate? Or they give you a job because they think you've got the relevant skills when in fact you don't and you end up struggling with the work. You'll be out of the door before you know what's hit you! I don't think a degree is essential; it's just desirable. If you do well enough in the test, I'm sure they'd consider you without a degree. Good luck with your application0 -
Just popped by to say I got in!! I waited two weeks and heard nothing so resent the application from my hotmail account on Friday - my normal email has an unusual ending so I assume this was rejected by their email program.
Anyway, I got the email this afternoon saying I have been accepted - I'm over the moon!!!!

After lurking around for the last few weeks and reading all the info on this thread, I just wanted to register to say thanks to everyone for all the useful tips.
I just got my e-mail this afternoon to say I've been accepted as an AQA researcher (pending my induction) and I'm sure I wouldn't have been successful without all the helpful people on here, so thanks very much to you all.
Cheers,
Ollie0
