    Hey,

I received the application this afternoon, it is test 8! ;) Any help would be appreciated! Some of the questions will need a lot of imagination.

Jacqui222, did you manage to get any feedback? Do you have any idea what could be wrong with your application? It seems a lot of people on here passed third time round, So im sure you will get in!

    Good Luck.

Just received my application pack today with the 12 questions. It took me an hour to answer the first 4!! I don't know if this is for me to be honest as if I am struggling with the initial questions what hope will I have doing it for real.

Some of the questions I got were

When will I find my soul mate?
What shall I do in Paris this weekend?
Where is a good place to eat in Holbourn?

    Total nightmare!!

I am even finding it difficult to put something interesting on the application form, just don't know what they are looking for.

Think I will sleep on it.

But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • If it helps they are looking for both factually accurate answers where relevant and also bold and imaginative answers for questions where there's no way you could find 'real' facts. They want you to have a sense of humour and to think what you would like to receive as a reply if you used the service. Don't be hesitant or unsure.

Some questions DO take a bit of research but you do get quicker with practice :)

Good luck to all and shout if you need any help.
Proud to be dealing with my debt!

I took about the same time but i forgot to save:eek: NOT funny!

Fortunatlty I remember the answers to the first 3 so will do it tomorrow morning.

I think its difficult but will get easier over time, because you get used to the research methods and know what they expect.

Don't give up. I will let you know how i get on once I have completed the 12 questions.

I did the same test today but didn't spend too long on the questions. If I'm accepted that's great but if not, I haven't lost anything.

    Good luck everyone.

I am half way through! Its taken me an hour to do 6 questions . I think I need to buy an imagination lol. I am finding the factual questions quite easy but the ones where imagination is needed im spending far too long on.

Is there anyone that might be willing to "review" my test for me? It would be really helpful to get feedback from people that have allready done the test, just to see that im on the right track.

    Thanks.

Yes I'm happy to have a look if you like - I've been working for AQA for a few months now.... I'll PM you my email address - I'm on a course today though - back at 5pm but I'll look and feedback straight after that if that's OK - but don't worry if you get someone to do it sooner :)

    Hi KammyK,
I'm in the same situation as you, it's taken me a lot longer than I first thought!
Most of the time, I think, has been spent on the formating of the words, putting it into their way of answering.

Purpledelly - I have PM'd you to see if you wouldn't mind reviewing my answers also, thanks so much.

Have been reading these AQA threads on here with interest, been using MSE for quite some time now, but only recently really delved into the forums - they're great, especially the Old Style! :j

    Cheers,
  • You should both have an email from me now - hope they reach you OK ;) And good luck!!
