Checked things more careflly. I got in the 3rd time and was convinced I'm double and tripple checked everything through the first 2 times. When I went to my sent items and looked at the forms I'd sent, I still found several mistakes in there. I knew he had to pass the 3rd tiem or that was pretty much it, so I sat and read and reread over and over and eventually I was convinced there was not a thing wrong, sent it and got in. DON'T TRUST WORD'S SPELL CHECK, it misses all sorts of things so you need to know your grammar etc (appreciateas that this post is probably full of mistakes). Apart from that I think it's down to whether they've had enough applicants. Anyways hope you get in, GOOD LUCK!!

I sent off the original email on Tuesday and received the automated response. However, I have not yet received the application form or test (I have checked my junk folder as well btw). How long should I wait before sending a follow-up email? Thanks!

I reapplied straight away twice but they did say they had a policy of waiting 8 weeks inbetween and if I didn't get in this time I'd have to wait to reapply, but thankfully I did.

Just got an email with a big fat NO! pants! Ah well, it was my first time of applying, so I suppose at least I can have another go!

I ordered the book from Amazon but it didnt arrive in time for my researcher test, got it this morning and from reading the answers given in the book, I was pretty resigned anyhow!

Hopefully it will help me in my next application.

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could let me know what the introduction involves, ie, how long it is; what sort of questions are asked; are we asked specific test questions; and generally, what we'd need to know.

I have received the Starter Guide, and been through the KES Help Viewer; am I right in assuming the part we'd need to 'master' would be the Answering Policy? We can't be expected, surely, to have mastered the whole KES Help Viewer section.

Hi, the ijntroduction usually lasts about 40 mins if I remember correctly. It's abit of a do's and don't run thorugh via yahoo messenger and includes some tips and hints from your SR. While I'm sure noone expects you to be able to recite the KES Help section, it is expected that you abide by all it says so you do need to know the main points of it, formatting for times and dates, when to not answer etc

I got in second time round so its definitely worth having another bash at it if you get turned down first time.

so what are the minimum hours you can work each week?

Like is it totally up to me? or can i say just log on n start answering questions whenever i like? If i couldnt do it for say a week would that matter?
