Thanks again Keren:D
Will let you all know what happens - fingers crossed!!0 -
It's opinion vicks, with a bit of 'hearsay' fact thrown in.
I would do something like Google 'restaurant review Holborne' and pick one with a good review. I use Trip Advisor for hotels - put St Albans in the search and then list them by popularity.
Obviously if a hotel pops up with 'Best Hotel in Region 2007' or something similar, then that's a good one to pick.
For stuff like 'what will happen at my party', make something up like 'Your party will be best your friends have ever been to. You will play Twister and listen to Kaiser Chiefs all night' (corny I know but it should be just fun and informative).
Thats a coincidence my answer for the party one was very similar to that.
Great minds think alike. lol0 -
Are there any AQA's on here that might be willing to give a newbie some pointers?

Anyone make a full time living out of this? How many hours would you need to do to make £1000 a month? Or is that being unrealistic?0

I think it is realistic, i think you need to work fairly hard though.
I worked out approximately 942 questions a week would give you £1,000 after tax and ni (2007/08) - I think!
If you could do at least 20 questions an hour it would be maximum of 47 hours a week, if you could get your average up to 30 questions an hour it would be more like 32 hours.
Evenings and weekends are probably better times to work.0 -

Not sure if will try again, i thought my answers were much better this time so you must have to be fantastic to pass!
Jenna i got my first failure email Saturday, 2nd test Sunday and 2nd failure email today so might be worth chasing?
Not setting myself up as an expert or anything, but perhaps if you posted your test questions and answers up on here, me or one of the other AQA researchers could have a look at it for you...?

Hi all
I emailed for an application pack before Xmas, received it a couple of days ago. I think I got Test 8 (what will happen at my friend's party?, how many tube stations begin with A etc). The one about "where is best to eat in Holborne" and "Which is the best hotel in St Albans" were the hardest for me. Were they looking for an opinion or fact? Test has been sent now anyway, but if I don't get in at least i'll have an idea where I went wrong!!
Vicks xx
Vicks, how long did it take you to complete this test? Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
