Hi Squiggly Diddly (that is far harder to type than say!) and welcome aboard. You will definitely find that the lists and all the support from the other folk here will soon make a difference and help get your place in order.
Lil_me: I'm glad last night was uneventful, even if you didn't get to sleep til late. I hope the weekend is peaceful.
Rach: Good luck with the shopping - even if it is just window shopping.
I've been to the farmers market and stocked up with stuff to do some batch cooking. There are two loads of washing waiting to be hung out, then it's out into the garden for some sitting around and some occasional activity. I *must* put some preservative (bat-friendly so I don't end up gassing the hens!) on the hen-house as this is the first time the weather has been good enough to for ages.
Have a good weekend all.

Kaz.. I'm in for a cuppa but can I have tea please.. I don't drink coffee...it makes me do this..
Just parcelling up dozens of ebay things and arranging collection for one.. it is an enormous projector screen and weighs a ton.. so it is getting bubble wrapped beyond recognition and cardboarded and taped to oblivion!

Surely though that would depend onhow strong you have your coffee... my mother has about 20 granules of coffee.. she also has it black and with no sugar.. hardly worth the boter I know.. but assuming she didn't have decaff there couldn't possibly be more caffeine than red bull in there.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
morning all
coffee for me kaz thank you:beer:
hello Squiggly might be worth trying what you were saying about your dd's and when they want you to do something for them they do something for you.I do this when my ds1(14) is in a horrible mood. Why should I do what ever he wants me to do for him when he won't even do something as simple as putting his washing up. It makes him think and has worked(slowly).
more washing on and pegged out.
Think i might join you window shopping kaz.
congrats on you new baby maralum. we have a black & white kitten called Mabel. They are so much fun.:D
I would congratulate Pig pen on her forthcomming baby but Snails make my Skin crawl:eek: but I'm sure you'll love him

:coffee: :coffee: one tea, one coffee and DD happily tucking into pizza toast.Surely though that would depend onhow strong you have your coffee... my mother has about 20 granules of coffee.. she also has it black and with no sugar.. hardly worth the bother I know.. but assuming she didn't have decaff there couldn't possibly be more caffeine than red bull in there.
I know I was surprised when I read the article in The Mail when I was on holiday. They listed the caffeine content of normal instant (average strength), espresso, red bull, tea plus others. Espresso was even higher but coffee was 100 and Red Bull 80 of whatever the measurement was.
:coffee: another coffee for borderlakland. and which town you window shopping in, I've got to go to KL for all its sins
I'm impressed with all you've done on ebay pigpen, wish I could encourage OH to offload all the carp we have. Saw yesterday DS school are having a car boot next weekend and as its only over the road thought I might do it. Have loads of kids clothes stashed away. Not expensive stuff but is it worth trying to offload it and what could I get (mostly adams/verbaudet stuff I think)Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
kaz, I have never noticed where you are in the world before.think it will be KL for us as well.
getting to late to go any further affield.(it wouldn't have been if i got off my butt and got showered etc) shame as no kids this weekend so would have been nice to go somewhere different.but hey ho.
All this talk of Ebay reminds me to get mum to come and take pics of my fridge she is gonna try and sell on there for me.got a huuuuge new one(well new to me)so gonna try and sell the smaller one.
off to put washing out (again)clean out litter tray:eek: and feed some beasties
