Solway chuck your ironing this way, am about to do some more and watch Enders at the same time. 4 more things will hardly make a dint in my pile! But it is going in the right direction and even though I have said it before I shall be keeping it to more manageable proportions.

Evening all doing at good job at being the cow's tail today.

    Not done any flying.

DS2 happy in his new school
DS1 not keen on his new teacher - Year 1 is no fun we cannot play but he did agree to go to his swimming lesson after school which I thought would be a battle.

    Ebay stuff posted
    DS1 hair Cut
Chiro visit for me and DS1
Made well done on your first day cake

All kids in bed and OH just arrived home too.

Tomorrow I will have the whole house empty to myself so will do a double dose of flying and hope to find my pilates video and do that once the living room floor is clear and clean enough to lay on.

Going to watch Jamie in a minute and sew a few name tags on.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • not too bad a day for me thanks penpen. Two lessons with my form who all seem nice and very subdued, which was probably because they were all sat with someone from another year group to them. I am still not convinced by this vertical grouping, but 11-16 all together may be a good thing.

Then had one lesson with my Y11 group, which i was dreading as it has some real 'characters' both silly and nasty in it, and surprisingly my worst row with them was over them saying 'yes miss' for the register. I will batter some manners into them. (They are a bit feral as they had 5 teachers last year)

Have marked the books tonight to give them a bit of a kick, and still have a few other bits to do for tomorrow so i had best crack on, as i would like to be in bed for 10ish.

    Bye :j

PS - glad so many of the tiddlers seem to have had nice days. Hope my 3 x y7s went home and said how well they liked it ;)
  • Arrgghh!

I can't keep up with all the posts - so I'll just jump in and say

    Hello from student 7ww

Well I have survived two days at University and haven't done anything too embarrassing (apart from slightly taking the mickey out of the head of department - before I cottoned on who he was  ). But I am exhausted! It is an hour on the bus each way, and there has been a conference on with some lectures that my supervisor thought would be useful - except they didn't finish until after 6pm on both days.

Never mind, it is all good fun and I even managed a tiny bit of flying tonight whilst hubby cooked tea :D .

Right I'd better organise myself for the morning. I'll try and catch up with all your posts and drop by tomorrow evening.

My ebay sales are now up to £150.. *grin* .. and rising rapidly!! 23 of my 83 items have bids now and the 3 pairs of boots I listed today have LOADS of watchers!!! I'm hoping they go for a decent amount so I can afford to buy both DD3 and 4 some nice new boots for christmas (I get them in clarks sale just before and wrap them up! I take them in to be measured so I know I get the right size) Ooooh my feedback has risen well since I did my mammoth feedback leaving session!! lol That too is pleasing!

Suppose I should do something other than watch my downloads download!!

OOOOOHHHHH I CAN GET UNIFORMS OUT FOR TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    WOOHOO!!!!!!

Just lost a post why does this keep happening to me.

Glad to hear that all has gone well at school and uni today, i'm sure we worry more about them going than they do.

pigpen - re buttons i have stuck with the buttons for DD2 and after ten days she is managing them herself - I pampered DD1 and she was nearly seven before she would do them herself not going to make that mistake again.

Anyway my list for tomorrow -

    make lunches
    evening meal

    good evening peeps

I am very envious of everyone's kids being back at school! Glad everyone seems to have settled back on well. Another week to go here til they are at school.

Well your nagging has paid off and I am admitting defeat and not setting myself up any more lists etc before baby comes. Just when I think I can't get any more tired, I reach new depths and feel 10 times worse.

Went to bed at 9.30 last night, didnt get up til 8 and still feel rubbish.
Took kids out for a few hours to country park and sat down for most of it.
Other than that I didnt do a lot, and since DD went for a sleep when we got back I left DS to play on his own and I dozed on the sofa for an hour and a half. I did kids tea and started ours but when hubby got back at 6 I just fell to bits and burst into tears!! He sent me off to bed and I dozed for another hour and a half. Came back down at 8pm for food, and he had abandoned the tea I started for us - we will have to have it tomorrow instead - oh bum just realised he is out tomorrow night. Oh well i will cook it and we can reheat on Thursday. We got takeaway pizza instead.

How I am going to manage the walk to school next week I dont know. It takes longer to drive cos the traffic is nose to tail from 8am til 9am, we cant even hardly get out our road end, its a long way round, as the crow flies through the walkways its really quite close. Still I suppose once they are dropped off I have an hour and a bit to sit down (and I MUST sit down) before going up to get DS from his stupid 2 and a half hour session at schoo. Pah. Far too short.

Tomorrow I have a 38 week (is that all, groan) midwife appointment, and then a couple of friends comking over in the afternoon. If I can manage to get tea ready for thekids in the morning then I should be able to make it to 6. There is no laundry needing done thankfully and DW is half empty so it can wait til tomorrow. So nothing to do in the morning really.

So anyway hope you all dont mind me hanging around whilst doing no flying!
Am going to sort out the half cooked tea in the kitchen and then go to bed.

aarrghh just lost massive reply, too tired to do it again.

All fine here, no baby, am knackered, not doing any more lists or flying now til basby comes but if its ok I will hang around here anyway!
Got 38 week midwife appointment tomorrow, dont suppose I will get much in the way of anything out of it. Except they can confirm its head down, pretty sure it is anyway. Lots of feet in ribs, that sort of thing LOL

JillD.. I'l sure we will let you hang around until you pop!! .. if only because we love those newborn piccies!!! You may have to do the simple stuff like washing up and laundry!!!

jjef .. she can do buttons already.. I'm mean.. she is number 7 and has no mollycoddling or pampering because I can't be bothered, teaching independence is a must in here!! But these are on the shoulders and I'm concerned they'll be a little difficult on PE days.. I'll ask her what she wants I think.. see what she will prefer.
