I've just caught up on 3 months of ebay feedback!!! I have a few I'd like to neg but will just not leave feedback because they were hateful!!

And now I've caught up on answering inane questions! (half of which if they read the listing they'd know the answer for!!!)

I got DD1 some plain blue polo shirts for school eventually.. BHS had none, Woolworths (these had red or royal blue) had none.. Next don't even have schoolwear in the store any more!! and eventually found some in Debenhams.. the last 2 blue polo shirts.. thankfully half price.. is 13-14 a popular size or something???

Glad to hear he had a good day pigpen.

DD goes tomorrow and I don't think she's really looking forward to it although she normally loves school. She wants to stay in the same class as she was in last year not move up into Yr 1.

DS doesn't start until next Tuesday but he is absolutely desperate to go. He keeps on about putting his uniform on and his new school shoes.

    Evening

Well I've updated as much as I can and nearly cleared the list, which has to be a first for being on time but had to really. First day back at work tomorrow after 3 months off  so I'll be away before the kids at 730ish (I'm always late) so think of me when you're all having your first cuppa, I'll prob be on my 3rd!

Want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your help and support over the last few weeks esp lilme for the lists and pigpen for the laughs. I wont say I'll miss you because I shall still be back sneaking in when I can during the day and trying to update in the evenings once the chores are done. You are ALL a great bunch so whether its tea or alcohol

What an evil cackle that lol is!!!! :p;)

Glad your DS did ok at school and what a fine name his friend has :)

Well a reasonably productive day besides the ironing I have cleared the hall and A seems to be on the bandwagon more than ever, we have just cleared the stairs and agreed that we have to show W by example how to keep the place tidy.

Seems like everyone has had a good day  all round

  • wow to everyone with kids. I nearly died this morning - I had to get to my friends house at 7.20 to get to work. ugh. any one who can do that with children has my complete respect.

I am going to plan out the rest of my evenings this week, am not as tired today (mainly cos I came in and had a nap!) so should be able to get stuff done.

    Tuesday night
    1. clean out animals. yuck.
    2. hoover manky skanky bedroom.
    3. take all the "stuff " for my new room and put it in the spare room.
    4. iron something to wear for work tomorrow. and find nice shoes that don't hurt my feet.

    Wednesday

    1. stay late at work - sort out routines
    2. brief tidy of house
    3. spend the evening studying

    Thursday

    1. stay late at work and mark coursework
    2. do one load of washing and basic tidying
    3. spend rest of evening studying.

    Friday

    1. clear room
    2. go through wardrobe - charity, clothes swop, chuck,
    3. finish washing
    4. prep room for painting.

    Saturday
    1. return library books
    2. take stuff to charity shop.
    3. spray paint desk (scary)
3.paint room and maybe varnish shelves.
    4. finish studying (please let me finish!!)

    Sunday
    1. make desk and funny box thing.
    2. finish up studying/ maybe some school prep instead or if I have been really good watch a film and have a beer!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

me again, also am a bit :( as hardly any of my ebay stuff is currently selling and some of it finishes tonight. what is selling is currently at the minimum! grrrr.

I know how you feel - 3 of my items sold at the weekend all at the minimum (had set these realistically but had hoped for more)

  • Evening Lovelies,

Started reading the thread with all the send offs and worries and so on and couldn't wait to get to the end to see how all today's starters got on! Glad it all seems to have gone smoothly.

Finished work an hour early today and have so far..
    Done all my windows inside
    Vacc'd the livingroom and hall
Gloss painted in the kitchen (as far as the end of the tin!)
One washload in and put away (not getting the iron out for 4 things)
Stripped my bed to make up another washload and put it out
Waiting for my supper to be ready- HM minestrone with 3 slices of very old baguette and cheese underneath. Mmm, can't wait!

Still have to re-make my bed once the flea spray has done it's thing. Awful habit letting the cats in with me I know.. And clean my brushes off so I can do some more tomorrow if I get time to get more paint.

Should really get a shower and hairwash too but can't be a'd..

Tomorrow I'll just do floors off the list (woo, am ahead from changing my bed tonight!) and some more painting. But I want to go through my wardrobe and put away the summer stuff that I was going to wear if we had one. I need new clothes!

If I don't get back on here tonight, I hope tomorrow goes well for the next wave of send offs and you all have a happy flying day. With plenty of tea.

  • Pigpen, DS looks lovely :j Congratulations on becoming Mad and Maverick

Tinsel - pulled muscle  Too much cleaning :T

Michelle - how's your day been?

Small Penguins back at school today. DD (14yo) has been chosen to be a *Buddy* for the new starters. She has a smart pin badge for her tie, but has said it's been really stressful, as they have no idea ;)

Been at w*** today, so not much done apart from meal from SC, and tidy after that. Helped DD with her French homework, and done some on-line ordering.

See you all tomorrow, Penny. x

Of course it is an evil cackle.. you should hear it for real... lol.. I am often mistaken for a hag!! Especially after a few bevvy's I get a bit raucous as well.. NOT appealing but extremely amusing!! BUT at least I don't snort like a pig!! (my sister does!)

Just deciding whether I should add poppers to DD4's school pinafore or buttons.. poppers would be easier for her to do herself... but I don't want them coming undone and her dress falling off!! .. Opinions??
