There are 89 things still to iron :eek:

The time it took to count that many items you could probably have ironed another 10!!! Then there would only have been 79!!!

Stop looking at it and get it done!!!

Off to get my big boy from high school!!! I REALLY REALLY hope he has had a good day!!! I WILL cry if he comes out unhappy.

Just sitting here waiting for the tea to cook, it smells yummy and I'm starving. Went upstairs to clear my new bedroom floor (yes it's full of junk already) so I could clean the carpet but cannot be bothered now I've cleared it, still, there's no rush I'm quite happy here in the dining room with the pc.

DD2 had a fabby day at school, she loves it and double thrill cause she'll be starting swimming from next Monday so she's super happy.

pigpen - how did your DS get on, is he ok? did he have a good time? are you relieved?

Hope everyone's little ones, or big one's even had a good day - it's always nice to get the first day out of the way.

Kaz - meant to mention in my earlier posts (doh!) try not to let your DD get you down, but I know where you're coming from, kids aint easy! ((((hugs))))

    Hurry up tea!
  • just wrote a post and then lost it!. Have spent all day sorting out shoes as found DS1 has feet 2 sizes bigger than they were at the beginning of the summer- so new school shoes, rugby boots - the lot! then tidied up all shoes in garage and put into loft those for hand-downs (Walking boot mainly). Not much cleaning done but did wash the floors (I know its really yesterday's job).

Hav also taken all 4DKs to dentist and sorted out DD clothes so can fit clean clothes (after holiday) into drawers
Hope all those whose DKs started school today have happy bunnies
  • Just having a quick check in to see what ive missed (having gone to the pub after work last night and not getting back in any fit state to do anything) and i nearly died of heart attack when i saw i had 3 days stuff to do. The alcomohol must have pickled my brain as for a split second i thought i had lost a day and it was Wed. :o

Right hometime and crack on with some cleaning. will catch up properly then.
  • Just caught up with the posts and am about to start tea, spaghetti carbonara, one of my faves.

Have managed to pull a muscle on my right side so it's a pain as I'm right handed and washing the floor this afternoon with my left just didn't feel comfortable! So I just did the utility and kitchen floors and left the dining room one.

The mega list I wrote and pinned up on the wall a few weeks ago has had all but 3 things crossed of the short term goals! So pleased :j
The medium term has 3 things ticked off and the long term has had one so I'm really pleased with our progress.

    hollyh- hope you're feeling better,
kaz- hugs for you, hope things imrpove with your DD
pigpen and lil_me - how did those boys get on today??
AnW's mum- did your 2 get on ok after the delayed start?

DS had his second day at junior school today and wanted me to leave him at the school gate! I didn't though, couldn't do that.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Thanks for asking Tinsel, they both had a good day thanks :) W was a bit unsure and wanted his old teacher back but he came out all smiles. A is now a big junior girl and had a great day. She has just done a word document 'All about me' to take in tomorrow.

Pigpen another 23 items ironed and more importantly no more added to the pile AND those that have been ironed are almost all put away!!!! :p
