  • some great examples above that have way exceeded my profit, the YB amounts are crazy, I obviously missed a trick.

FYI my main bank accounts (all the DD's and mortgage etc) is with Nationwide (Fantastic service) & Natwest (3% cashback).

TSB is now my play account, as there are no switch offers at the moment that i can switch to, I'll stick with them.

I just love free cash - and like i said in article it was so simple to switch (apart from HSBC) :T

So you're excluded from the Nationwide refer-a-friend £100 offer then...because you've previously received an incentive payment from them?

Well done all those getting the YB switches! I can't even get YB online banking sorted,. They gave me the customer no, acc. and sort code nos. but the website just doesn't complete the process after I've filled in the security answers! Any ideas anyone? I got a donor account waiting.

Which I'll definitely be taking on principle once my RS matures, as they don't seem to have worked out how to pick up the phone in a reasonable amount of time. Not that they are alone there, but I thought they were supposed to be 'different'. Still I suppose 5 minutes wait is different to 30 (HSBC, M&S, Nationwide, you know who you are...)

Won't you be outside the 7-12 month window by the time the 12 month regular saver matures?

I do hope G. Osborne or one of his cronies, do not read this forum, this seems a great source of extra revenue for HMRC. I am surprised they have not already included this type of money under their" income" rules.

My rewards from switching are relatively small compared to others on here, it seems my school teachers were correct when they said" must try harder"

Don't you just love articles written and published by professional journalists, where you are left thinking "you haven't got a clue".

Over the last year or so...

    £1,650 from 11 YB switches
£600-800 or so from Nationwide (Inc. Quidco...eventually!)
£220 from Co-op and HSBC going through at the minute

I did most of the others years ago, or was excluded eg TSB, so I'm content with £2,670 this last year.

Ah, YorkshireBoy, you are my God!

I have recorded £1400, but that starts from the 3 (Pfft! Amateur!) Yorkshire Bank incentives, and doesn't include £200 which I know I received years back with the Co-op, nor credit card incentives over the years.
