    A few UUS and IN'S

    UU:-

Bath and Body works Sweet Cimnemon Pumpkin. WDNBA even if I could. Awful fragrance and colour. I have put the matching body lotion on eBay.

Bliss Grapefruit and Aloe body butter. This was a small tube that came in a Birchbox. This is gorgeous and if I see it at reasonable price on eBay will buy.

Smashbox it girl lip gloss. First item from my finish 7 by Summer. Nice enough but nothing special that I would try to replace. Did however treat myself to a new lipstick at Trafford Centre yesterday only to find that the incorrect bullet is in the box.
    Need to replace this now.

Also in Loccitane foot cream for MRM.

Hi sam.4000, have you ever ended up having big customs charges when ordering from websites like that? I don't want to do a massive order but I want to try a few Korean ranges like TonyMoly and It's Skin, and I've been looking on eBay. The postage is free but obviously doesn't include customs etc. Maybe it would be ok on a smaller order? TIA :)

No I have never been charged for an order from any Korean company unlike American companies where I always get charged , as LunaL says some companies mark down the parcel's value such as Jolse and Testerkorea. There will be a day when I get charged I can't say it is risk free I must have had 40 parcels or more over the last 2 years from Korea.

They test on animals and for me it's a big no no. It's just my opinion but I won't use anything by a company who tests on animals, including cleaning products etc. It just doesn't make any sense to me and makes me feel quite sick in all honesty.

Thanks rdone. Yea this is really interesting to me so I'm unlikely to buy from them again as animal testing is not something I'm a fan of either.

LunaL, one I forgot which has really good sales e.t.c is roseroseshop, you do pay for postage.

    Last UUs of the month

    67) body shop glazed plum body butter 200ml WMBA I have not used a body shop body butter for 12 months and forgot how long they lasted. I like the scent and consistency.

    68) dashing Santa bath bomb WNBA okay but nothing special.

    69) hairsalon boutique Bebe nutritive ampoule ( for hair) WNBA I did not find it did much or anything really for my hair.

    70) Nature republic first essence mask WNBA prefer others.

I didn't think I would make my goal of ten items this month and then I tackled my make-up drawer!

I found 20 lipglosses that were all smelling nasty or had gone gunky! This is a lesson for me. I love lip gloss, but find it goes off quicker than other types of make-up so I really need to just have a few at a time.

I am also chucking out a Bourjois blusher as it is just too sparkly and makes my skin look worse.

Four mascaras also went in the bin as I can't remember how old they are and I am not risking the health of my eyes.

So, I slightly exceeded my monthly goal ha ha! So that is 49 items gone since the beginning of the year.

Maybe last UU of the month? Savin de me the soap bar. This was a mini that MRM got as a GWP and gave me as stocking filler this year. Considering it was not in my stash long it had no fragrance left whatsoever however was very creamy. Would not seek out to repurchase.

VALM - I have the BBW cinnamon pumpkin body lotion too, in a travel size. I don't particularly like the scent either! I've put the remaining half away for this year October time, I didn't want to persevere with it last year as I wanted to get my Christmassy scented stuff out. Can't say I'm hugely looking forward to starting on it again. Thank god I didn't buy it as a full size.

    One UU:

Nivea invisible black and white roll on deodorant - Wnba didn't like how insanely sticky this felt. It's a good idea and I'd maybe buy it if I was wearing black dresses or something but I don't so... There's so many others I prefer that I probably won't re purchase this one. It did do an ok job though.

Eta Carolyn I'm so tempted by the banana shower cream, I loved the boots fresh banana split one. I must behave though I have enough in stash to last me forever at this rate!

A couple of more use ups to report:

    UU

Newtons Anti-Bacterial Intensive Foot Cream 75ml - I really enjoyed this cream and it was great value (bought in Savers). I would buy this again as it worked quite well.
Superdrug Feminine Deoderant 125ml - Would possibly buy again. I liked the scent but I'm not sure if this product is 100% necessary but nice to have if not feeling fresh during that time of month.

  • I was in Tesco and spotted the last keratin oil shampoo and conditioner ogx range for half price. There was only one of each left and so I bought it as it’s designed to reduce breakage. I recalled caroline hirons praise the range. Hopefully with the Philip Kingsley elastiser, there may be some improvement of the hair. I hear people using castor oil to improve the quality of the hair but I think that the quality of the water can impact negatively on my hair.

Used up trilogy everything balm- WNBA. I re-purposed it as an oil cleanser. It was ok but I could not find many “everything” uses. I have a cream cleanser to finish up so I will hold back on getting a solid balm cleanser- the water quality is so bad here I cannot use it to do the cleansing with a hot flannel.
