4 INs to declare from Fabulous Forever.

Fabulous Eye Shade In Taupe (Matte Eyeshadow)
Fabulous Lid Colour Silver Mist (Lightweight Cream Eyeshadow With Wand Applicator) Flattering Silver/Lavender Colour
    Fabulous Lip Prime
Fabulous Light (Lightweight Highlighter In Brush/Pump Applicator).

I like the effect very much on first use, the lid colour and the highlighter are lighter in texture than my existing products and much better suited to my aged eye lids:D. I will work through all my eye shadows and palettes and will probably be giving away quite a lot of them.

I also think that you need to visit a LUSH shop in person, I don't live near to any now so don't use their products anymore, but I used to love some of their cleansers and shower gels, also their products for skin conditions such as eczema, but found nearly all of the soaps and shampoo bars that I tried far too drying for me.

While I was delving to find a pump to fit into my White Company shower gel and body lotion (only 50% successful so about to order some Muji bottles to decant into) I found a pump for the 1 litre ABC skin wash bottles, I have 1 bottle in use and 1 spare, so if you need the spare pump you are very welcome to it.

Thanks, maddiemay will bear this very kind offer in mind if needs be. X

Like others have said, I'd recommend going to a lush store first to smell things and see what you like. The staff are always keen to help. There are so many different smells. I have no set type of smell I like personally, I like both sweet and more citrusy scents, basically whatever I think smells good. Some of my favourites are: snowman shower jelly, pot o gold shower jelly, sweetie pie shower jelly, refresher shower jelly, snow fairy shower gel, rose jam shower gel, yummy mummy shower gel, rub rub rub shower scrub, mm melting marshmallow moment, Sakura bath ballistic, creamy candy bubble bar, bunch of carrots bubble bars, rockstar soap. I also loved Phoenix rising bath ballistic but they discontinued it and I missed it last time it was on lush kitchen :'( some products are seasonal (Easter or Christmas) so I'm always sure to stock up if I really like something.

I've been on a 12 mile bike ride this afternoon, luckily the weather held out and I've just had a nice bath to warm up! Just lit my favourite bunny cake Yankee candle :)

    UU:

Lush pink fun- Wnba nice enough don't get me wrong, and I love the snow fairy/candy smell but i prefer to use a normal lush soap or a bubble bar. It's a nice novelty idea for kids but I think a little on the expensive side for me personally. 1/2 a bar produced just enough bubbles (although I do like a lot). I didn't try it as a soap. Would use if I get it in a gift set again but probably won't buy it otherwise. Prefer creamy candy bubble bar or Rockstar soap which are similar smells. Got another in stash anyway.

Avon foot works toasted macadamia nut exfoliating scrub 75ml- WBA really liked the smell of this and it felt nice and scrubby, not sure if it was working Miracles on my feet but I enjoyed using it anyway. Think this is discontinued now though which is a shame but would get again if I could find it again. Need to hunt in stash for something to replace this.

L'occitane rose tenderness hand cream 30ml- WBA L'occitane hand creams are my favourite. For me personally, they are the most moisturising and just feel lovely to use, not sticky and sink in really well. I liked the smell of this and the packaging. Really sad it's gone as I don't think you can get this particular one anymore. For me, worth the money. My hands get very dry because of the job I do so I need something really moisturising to use on an evening. I do have more Loccitane in stash to use so don't need to get anymore yet but will when those are gone.
    I. Using L'Occitane Delightfyl Rose Shea hand cream at the mo which I bought from them not so long ago.

cauldalie sos matt moisturaizer- wnba- matt? need all the glow i can get.

    t/ a

berts bees shiny lip balm- wnba i like the plain bert bees one. it was free so no loss.

max factor lip gloss- wnba very werid colour and the smell was a little plastic. it was a gwp so have learnt max factor juicy tube knock offs are a big waste.

Found some brow gel (maybeline) in the pound shop- HG but tried one and bought 3 more. Its great on the brows and very natural. I am not a fan of the big brows- the current fashion.

face scrub- will t/a. it a natural one. i can't use face scrubs any more after i wreaked my skin. i can use it as a shower scrub. gwp so at least the losses are minimized.

just a heads to to any one keeping shampoo for good. it can go off. I have a bottle that the viscosity has increased significantly.

    Hello again!

Right, just an update on the shower gel I've decanted into my S&G pump (never can resist using a pump when I have one - much more economical!): Nivea Creme Care shower creme.

    So far, so creamy...;)

Great tip! Don't know why I've never thought of re-using a pump once I'm finished with one as I much prefer them!

    UUs:

No7 body wash - think it was the Blissful body wash but I can't remember. I got this as part of a set over a year ago and it was nice but needed a lot of the product to lather well so would not buy separately but maybe as part of a set.

No 7 mousse foundation - this is my HG. When they discontinued it years ago I was lost but thankfully they brought it back. I really don't like liquid foundations but sometimes when my skin is dry I do feel like I should have an alternative as I feel like the foundation can sometimes be patchy or you can really notice it when my pores are open. I guess this is just me though cos I'm examining my face close up. Everyone else probably doesn't notice!

    INs:

L'Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Shampoo - my 900ml Tresemme shampoo and conditioner are almost done so I was buying in early whilst it was on offer

L'Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Conditioner - same as above

I've got one last mousse foundation in my stash so I'll dig that out for tomorrow. I've also started using my Soap and Glory Hand Food Smoothie Star although I'm not finished my L'Occitane Hand Cream yet (I think this will be finished after one more application though). *** In the time it's taken me to type this, I've actually just used up this hand cream!***

I've also brought out my Soap and Glory Sugar Crush body wash 500ml to replace my No7 shower gel. This will last me about 5 months I think!

I need to make more of a conscious effort to use up my body lotions/body butters as it's the one thing I have loads of. I'm using my E45 lotion a fair bit on my legs at the moment as I had a bit of a shaving disaster last week! I went away for the weekend to a wedding and forgot my razor. My friend brought me some really cheap razors and I used them on my legs with only water...really bad idea. I do this with my Gillette Venus razors and have no issue but not with cheap own brand razors. My legs were so streaky, red and burning the whole day (not the look I was hoping for!) and for the last week have been very itchy and flaky. Lesson learned.

Also, has anyone used Maybelline gel eyeliner? Once my Bobbi Brown one is used up I'm thinking about getting this. The girl who did my make up last week for the wedding says she swears by it on her clients but can't use it on herself as it takes a while to dry so I'm not sure about it. It did look great though.

Hope you have all had a lovely Easter :)

Day off and I'm bored, was supposed to be going out with brother to have lunch and buy an exercise bike but he's disappeared with his mates. I was looking forward to a trip out in his new car. Oh well. If he comes back early enough we might still get out, and get tea out instead of lunch. I've got stuff to do until then anyway, clothes to put away and I cleared my room of the Christmas/winter scented toiletries (cinnamon, cranberry etc) last night they are on my desk ready to be put away until winter. Need to get out my summery bits now and do a swap around as spring is here now the clocks have changed. Wish the weather was the same though! It's miserable :(

    3 UU so far today:

NSPA clementine mini body mist- WBA I love the smell of this. Sad it's gone but I have too many in stash to use. Won't re purchase until I've got my body mist/spray collection down considerably!

Vaseline aloe sensitive roll on deodorant- WBA nice fresh scent, does the job well. Will probably re purchase at some point.

Palmolive Rose petals bar soap- Wnba really disappointed by this I thought it would have a lovely strong rose smell like the Loccitane rose hand creams but it just smelled like normal soap to me :( . Nice enough but if I wanted a normal soap smell I'd have just bought the original scented one. Oh well. I have a ton more soaps anyway. Got a few more of these in stash that came in the same pack :( might go hunt in stash shortly for something to replace this but will probably treat myself to using a lush, TBS or bomb one now from my stash for a change as have quite a few of those I'd been saving "for best".

Also, I noticed while sorting last night that I have 2 herbal essences dry shampoos (pink and a white one) that I've had for possibly 2 years just sitting around. They both sprayed the first time then refused to spray after that and just leaked everywhere. I wanted to TA both but mum wouldn't let me saying there might be a way to save them. They are still sat there so, I was wondering, did anyone else have this problem with these (I mean of the people on this challenge, I've seen this was a problem with these dry shampoos when I searched online) and did you manage to get them working or save them or would you call it a day and bin them? I'm still annoyed as they smelled really lovely just gave up after one use. One I'd have put down to just a dodgy can, but for both to be useless!! I haven't bought any since as I didn't want to waste my money again, but I'm wondering if they have now made them better. This was when they first came out which I'm sure was in the last 2-3 years.

Cheers, I have ordered the Essie one, the Barry M one is better than the OPI.

    62) missha premium aloe mask WBA it contained 90% aloe Vera and smelt gorgeous and really calmed down ny skin after it reacted to Murad radiance peel

    63) Murad intensive C radiance peel 10ml WDNBA EVER. The pack says " you may experience a slight tingling experience". A strong burning sensation is what I felt so washed it off after a minute, my skin is not sensitive but turned out red and blotchy after this.

    64) lush stardust bath bomb WNBA lovely scent but no wow factor for me.

    65) bomb cosmetics bath melt WBA

    66) Benton snail bee sheet mask WBA good fit, hydrating and calming.

I have been very naughty and have ordered 2 beauty boxes for next month, placed an order for latest in beauty, ordered a couple of lush items from a forum, placed a largish order with a Korean skincare company and bought a beauty box off eBay. Oh and a sheet mask box also for next month with 30 masks. I will proceed to the naughty step and not go past the fridge.

Which sites do you use to order Korean skincare Sam? I've used Jolse before but would be interested to know what you do.

Also, which sheet mask box have you ordered?

    Thanks :)

Gemzie - I bought the Herbal Essences dry shampoo on a 3 for 2 about a year ago for DD and all 3 had to go in the bin, no amount of hot water or pin poking would get the blooming things spraying again. I complained to the company and got vouchers through the post. They are total rubbish.

  • Used up L'Oreal shampoo nutri-gloss. It was ok. I don't know if worsened the breakage of my hair but it looks really broken 2 inches from the scalp. I have Philip Kingsley elastiser in a drawer; this might be the time to use it.

G/A five items so far more to follow. more will follow as i have to be practical and use things up or give them to a new home.

one in travel size soap and glory body moisturizer. i wanted to sample it after seeing much praise of the range.

I started using my guerlain lipstick gwen (69) rouge G. http://www.temptalia.com/guerlain-gwen-69-rouge-g-lipstick-review-photos-swatches I thought i lost the lipstick but found it again.

I found a website that shows the swatching and dupes of the colour shades. its really detailed as it is sponsored by large companies but i like the idea of seeing the colours of different brands comparing foundation and eye shadows- to find a dupe. http://www.temptalia.com/
