Thanks, I did that with some items. I have been selling mostly beauty products that I've received as gifts with purchase and some I have put at pretty low prices to get rid with the mindset that they didn't really cost me anything.

GWP are odd. Sometimes they get no interest and other times you end up with a bidding war. I had a couple of small bottles of Lancome Bi-Facil that came in GWP and I think they got 20 bids!

Sold another item on EBay so that's 5 in total so far. I did donate 3 items on 3 March to work mates so am nearly on target.

Lots finishing today and tomorrow on ebay, at £95 for bids, loads with no bids but can donate some and relist some to finish at better times. Got a couple of bits going for more than I paid, craziness.

Webuybooks did not go well, they only really wanted to pay for 1 book, the rest just 10p so I need to rethink what I am going to do with them. I'd rather donate than sell for 10p but our local charity shop isn't taking in books atm.

Have you tried Ziffit? I find they accept books that webuybooks won't, but don't pay as much. In the same way as musicmagpie accepts DVDs/CDs webuybooks won't, but again won't pay as much.

Secondhand books just aren't that desirable anymore alas. I find they sometimes go on Freecyle if you bag them up in themed bags, but bags of mixed genre books not so much.

I can't believe it. The item I put on ebay this morning has sold already. So now on target. Watch it all go quiet now.

I/we would like to join please - I know it's late, but we have got off to a cracking start. Some old train sets auctioned off, earning us around £400.

Now we have a stack load of furniture to go for next month too.

Can anyone recommend the best place to off load lots of old interior decor magazines? Thanks in advance.

Complete shock this afternoon as I put a set of toys up and they sold for double what I bought them for new. I've had a little dig and it seems they are discontinued. I'm really pleased, they were 2014 stocking fillers that haven't really been played with.

I will look into Ziffit, thanks

Bit late but I'll join in again. :)

I've got 10 items finishing on eb@y on Sunday and only 1 sold so far. I have watchers on the rest though so fingers crossed.

I donated 15 food cupboard items that I won't use to the food bank today, and 20 unwanted items to charity. The more I get rid of, the more I want to get rid of :rotfl:

I watched 5 dvds on Sunday and 4 have gone in a box ready to try and sell or donate. Finally might get through my stash!

    Happy selling / decluttering :)
