I have finally calculated where I am with this challenge!
I have sold 19 items to those book/DVD buying companies and got £9.65 for them. It is not much, but they were taking up room and didn't sell elsewhere.
I have sold five items on ebay and made £44.65 after postage and fees etc.
So I am currently at (drum roll)...
24/31
£54.30
I have a big bag of books that I am hoping to take to the charity shop this week.0 -

Bit of a disappointment here as I am still waiting for payment from two of my eBay items that sold on the 6th of March!! They are higher value items as well.
On a better note, two more items sold yesterday so they are ready to post - gets me up to 8 things sold. I don't know if I will make the 31 sold, but I am decluttering by the day ready for my move. Looking to sell my old hoover as well as I took advantage of the MSE Vax sale. Also got rid of some paper organisers that were cluttering up my kitchen - starting to look a bit clearer!Trying to make my way on my MSE adventure.. Debt free since June 2018:j

I think I'm doing ok, technically I have got rid of 82 things! But some of it I have done in bundles (31 DVD's / 30 padded envelopes etc) so my total when you look at it that way is only 10! I've got another 9 things listed on ebay and have some more things lined up ready to try and sell next week.
I've made £98.17 which is brilliant and best of all I have got rid of some big items such an extra dining room table and 4 chairs and a TV unit, so my house is looking much better for it!0 -

I threw away 4 body butter / moisturiser things I've had for years, all used once and then ignored because I just don't like the icky feeling of sludgy things on my skin. Bit of a waste but I can't sell or give them away and they're just gathering dust.:staradmin :staradmin Emergency Fund @ £300 Non CCJ Debts x 7 @ £2782/ £4055 PAID!
