Good Morning
Hope you are ok Popstess
Hi tweets
Hi everyone
Sorry I've been a bit AWOL I have just been so so busy I'm still going still been keeping up my totals on my challenges just 12 days left in March and I've got £16 left in my grocery budget. I haven't managed to make £5 a day every day but I've still done rather well.
My very account now stands at £729 cannot wait to get that all paid off.
I got to pay day still in the black (a huge achievement for me!) now to get to April pay day still in the black! Expensive month this month lots of social activities that can't be avoided.
Hope everyone else is well0 -
Not been on myself for a couple of days as RL gets in the way. Had a busy week and just made a list of things I need to do next week. Not such a busy week next week and a four day week for me thanks to easter but have decided to work the bank holiday Monday as the extra money will come in handy. Just worked out my money for the next month and not looking to bad, no stupid spends for me hopefully.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000

Hey Popstess!
Finally caught up on both your diaries! You're doing great! How are you making £5 a day? Do you do surveys? And how much do you get for them? I think I tried one a while ago to enter some random competition and gave up after about 15 pages as said I was something ridiculous like only 30% complete...I've not got good patience clearly!
I am the same with the yellow stickers! I am on a few fb groups and people put up a full weeks shop of yellow stickers for £2.47! Now I normally just shop in Lidl though so don't even try anymore....I might give it one more go and look at closing times in a few supermarkets for 'fun' - what is my life becoming!! :rotfl:Starting debt £18,675.63

I used to do the YS thing in Asda on a Sunday for 'fun' when I shopped there more frequently, don't get me wrong, there were some good bargains but sometimes (often) it was more hassle than worth / result thanks to greedy people making barriers, hoarding food etc etc. My mother always taught me to share, clearly those with 20 x 10p egg mayo sarnies never got the same lesson in life. Greedy wotsits.
I now shop in Lidl too since a local one opened, I find I spend less partly because there's less choice to an extent, as well as the price being better for many items (heard one lady exclaim today that Camembert was 95p when it was over £2 at another supermarket.)
Popstess - you're a bit quiet, hope all ok with you. xxFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hey reality check,
I haven't managed to make £5 every day but e ery penny counts right? Have a look on the make £10 a day challenge on here for lots of ideas how to do it. I've done a mixture of selling a few things and completing surveys the best ones I've found are Toluna, Valued Opinions and pine cone. It's not big money and it's not a quick fix but if you can be bothered it's a little boostso far I've earned £17 from Toluna, £20 from valued opinions and £6 from Pine Cone.
Pah I've kinda given up with the yellow stickers idea to be honestI've been to Aldi a couple of times and tried my best to use things up in my cupboards and freezer.

Hey Kerri
I'm okay, just really really busy ATM so not much time to post. Still going, still trying hard to not add to my debt and stay in the black.0 -
Popstess sometimes careful planning and using things up is better than YS things where you get carried away with food you wouldn't normally use / buy / consider (sometimes that is a good thing, sometimes not so...as I've learned from experience lol!)
How is your DS doing with his eating and trying new things?
Well done on the surveys too xFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I'm gutted I was doing so well and had spent the £100 in March with just a week to go then I went and blew it and spent £50 in Asda on random bits and bobs. So annoyed at myself! I only went in for Easter Eggs and got carried away :mad:0

Its so easy done Pops. Been there, done that
You have done so well up until this little hiccup. There will be more hiccups along the way. Brush yourself off, move forward and pick up where you left off
xSP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000
PDBX 2017 #2 = £1,200/£12,000

I have NO money
SIGH............
Kids are off school and I haven't got a penny to spare.
Don't get paid until 15th April and I've got nothing left. Not feeling the love for money saving today feeling frustrated and suffocated.0
