Made it to 3 in a row and was on track for 4 but then ended up at the vets with the youngest dog and left with the bank balance £100 lighter :(
Will have some spends tomorrow then hopefully manage a few days next week.

Igor, make sure the Cauldron of Doom is scrubbed out, the NSD gang are already stacking up the NSDs!

Whaddya mean, "you're bleaching your undermentionables????"
Not in the sacred Cauldron......nooooooo! And what's this load of old tat in there with your "things what shall not be named.." .....set of Chef's whites.....Fabio's skin tight T- shirt vests.....marmite's Sunday best thermal bloomers......and a set of Spanx pants which have lost their elastic.......

Will you lot behave! This is the Cauldron of Doom, the sacred repository for all our NSDs......not to be used for boiling up and bleaching your clothes!

I am afraid we have no alternative but to fork out for one of those new-fangled machines that do the washing. If we can scrape together the money, that is - how is the Ennessdee Towers petty cash fund, Mrs Doyle?

I've seen it all now.... and just what is my beloved 18 hour girdle doing mixed in with Igor's off grey, smelly underthings?!!!!!

This really is the thin edge of the wedge.

It was the sure knowledge that the flaccid grey spanx pants were last seen decorating the hind quarters of a large flatulent donkey.....that was the final straw! marmite - difficult, I know, but we have to admit - Ennessdee Towers needs a washing machine. Yes, it was tough getting used to this electrickery stuff, and you know how we all loved the old oil lamps, but we are in the 21st century now, and people have washing machines. Igor is thrilled with the idea of not having to trample the sheets in the bath any more......what will he do with all that leisure time?

I suppose we have to move with the times....

Mrs Doyle is going to miss dallying with the mangle though. It's a family heirloom.

PS do we have the funds?

marmite - we have found a use for Mrs Doyle's mangle - Chef is making fresh pasta for lunch.

And, as we all like spaghetti, Igor is on standby with the scissors.
