Happy First of March, gang! This week Igor would like it to be known that he and Chef are arranging a series of cookery classes, on the theme of 101 Things to do with a Big Bar of Chocolate.
Rumour has it that ferrets, anchovies and Brussels sprouts will feature prominently.
On the other hand, come round to Chateau Nargle and I will give you my version......(number one - eat it. Number two - eat it. Number three - give it to me and I'll eat it. Get the drift?)One life - your life - live it!0 -
Claiming 1/20NSDs today! Woohoo! Oh Nargle I think you are onto a winner there! I had an aero for breakfast and a creme egg for pudding!! Yummy!

Creme eggs......haven't had one of those since Cadburys was bought by Kraft. I read recently that their chocolate is inferior to what it used to be, no doubt corners are being cut to save money.
I decided that the inhabitants of Chateau Nargle would not have Easter Eggs this year, but instead we would have a couple of bars of nice chocolate instead. After all, what is an Easter Egg? A few grams of unexciting chocolate, maybe a few sweeties, and loads and loads of foil, plastic and cardboard! A couple of 100gram bars of chocolate represent much more chocolate for your money.
So, at the back of our fridge is a pile of 6 big bars of chocolate, two each for me, OH and DS. The difficulty will be resisting their siren call every time I open the fridge door. One life - your life - live it!0 -

donna must be my twin. After struggling to hit targets of 15 NSDs, the towel has been thrown in and a lower target set. This, folks, does not mean "failure" (get that shark away from me, marmite, I am using quotation marks) - it just means a step back to setting a more achievable target so that we can slowly build up to more impressive figures. Also, it means if we hit that lower target we can set a new one to aim for which means....more prizes! Sneaky or what?
Waiting for marmite to finish rummaging around in her odds and sods drawer for suitable prizes.......please tell me there will be a chocolate theme somewhere? One life - your life - live it!0 -

How to confuse a Nargle in one easy lesson....
Sorted...'blushing here'....no actually,it was a cunning ploy to see if anyone was paying attention.Nargleblast wrote: »As my performance in February was under par, I will set a modest target of 10 NSDs for March.

Don't forget that piece of resistance:the delicate infusion of manky kipper, making the 70% dark chocolate bomb a true connaisseur's delight...Nargleblast wrote: »Creme eggs......haven't had one of those since Cadburys was bought by Kraft.
