career break

See it from and employers point of views. You would be a likely flight risk. What would stop you deciding to take another break? Or leave because you don't like the job. Just stick with the travelling side of things is my suggestion.0

OK then I was just say that I am not working at the moment and took time out for myself.
I wouldn't even say this. I would say you took time out to travel because you were in the financial position to do so. As said in my above post best not to show you are a flight risk to a future employer.0 -
I cannot say a year because I only been on my career break/unemployed since the end of last year.
Did you leave work in Dec 2014 or 15? I think posters are assuming 2014 because you'd never refer to (less than) two months as a career break. How long have you actually been out of work?0 -
Since December 2015.0

OK sound better. My previous employment before that job was stable so that should confirm that I am not hopping from job to job.0

Since December 2015.
Then you've not been on a career break, you've been unemployed. You've not travelled, you've been on holiday.
You need to explain that you left previous employment as you wanted a change in direction. You now realise this was hasty, you've learned from your mistake and you're keen to move forward etc etc.0 -
My career break is suppose to last until April but I am looking now for roles to start in April because it takes time to find the right role.0

I will take that approach and see what happens.0

As we keep saying, it's not a career break!
You gave up a job. You've done a couple of courses and travelled (been on holiday) in the two months since. Now you are job hunting again.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

OK I will say unemployed but what if they ask me why I left my job without another one to go. That seems to coming up in all of my interviews. I should not have to explain my financial position to them.0
