  • HI Everyone :) I've had a couple of quiet days since getting a horrible message on evilbay. Someone was just really rude to me because i 'dared' to send them a message asking if they could let me know when they were going to pay because i was going to the post office on Monday and wanted to get all parcels posted.

I know i am very sensitive to this kind of thing and it has just floored me :( I wanted to get more items listed but now i don't even want to log in....

I have listed a few things on fb now instead and got a couple of payments in too. Have just over £20 in paypal now but i'm sure i wanted some money in paypal for something so leaving it there for now until i figure out what.

I have started doing a few more surveys again - still checking one poll daily and have it up to £26.45 now.

Fighting the urge to hide under duvet atm so pleased i have managed a few things!

Some people have got nothing better to do than be horrid, especially on evilbay, my sister bought a pram once and it was disgusting when it arrived so she complained. The woman emailed her back saying that she shouldn't be so scabby as to buy a pram from ebay. As you can imagine my sister was very upset. Just remember they are horrible people and you are not. Don't waste your time worrying about them delete and move on.

    xx

Has everyone seen the new free scratch cards on freebirthdatelottery. You get 20 everyday and day win between £1 and £10. I won £5 yesterday - only downside is that you have to win £50 before you can claim so may never get it! Still it's fun and free so why not, eh?

    Sharon x

Sounds good to me, off to give it a go thanks for the idea x

Have you tried clicking on 'All Selling' in the left and scrolling right to the bottom of the page? I found the promotional offer there this morning but don't always receive an email from the Bay to tell me!

    Fingers crossed :)

Yeah I just get the usual 20 free listings per month. I'll keep checking it I still have a few to use up this month anyway, it would be nice to get a reduced final value fee one though x

well just got rejection email for school job, no interview :(

I have no idea how anyone gets interviews at school jobs, as they always ask for sims experience of which I have none. although sims is just a database and I have plenty of experience of that, more than most, as I used to used them at advanced level.

Oh well, start new job thursday. Just working out it is going to cost me a fortune in easter holiday unless can get friend to look after DS for free :(

something very strange, the email has disappeared! I have checked everywhere, spam, bin, trash, sent, important, etc and it is not there! I have emailed to ask if they recalled it as I wanted to show DH

I've applied for loads of admin jobs at schools and never got an interview even when I have met all the criteria. I think they are just really popular so loads of competition. Child care is a nightmare, our childcare bill is around £600 a month, between the rent and childcare that is my partner's entire wage gone and he earns a lot more than me, I'm trying to look at it long term though. Eventually I will be promoted and it gets cheaper as he gets older x

Only 22 applied for this job as required certain skills. In Ds old school, omg so cliquey!!! If you were favourite on pta, dinner lady favourite, you got jobs you weren't even qualified for over those who were qualified.

Have a feeling same happened here.

Oh well. Will just have to work extra hard 3 days to make up for loss of income.

Hope you get on well with the new job Aesop. Sorry you didn't get the one you wanted but something else might come up soon, and at least you have a part-time job now :)

Made £3.20 on surveys today. Am awaiting for a couple of surveys to be accepted on PA and can then do another £10 withdrawal. Also claimed a £5 AMC from swags as they are still on sale. So that's £8.20 to add today :j

Hope you all have a super Tuesday and stay warm and dry
