Fighting the urge to hide under duvet atm so pleased i have managed a few things!

Right Fairyclicks..........you have been an inspiration not only to me but to many others on this thread and many others no doubt......compare the many on here who are positive and friendly to that one evilone on the evilbay and we far outweigh the bad!

There are nasty people aplenty in this world but it is up to us how they make us feel!

Fairy clicks, I completely understand and sympathise wholeheartedly. Many people have no idea or don't care about the damaging impact they can have. There must be something in the water this last week. We've recently decided to rehome one of our dogs and placed an advert for him explaining how difficult it was for us, how desperately we wanted to ensure the best possible treatment for him and listing several conditions regarding new owner requirements. We wanted to be 100% certain he would be safe and loved. We've had many beautiful replies with people even mailing just to say that although they were not suitable, they wanted to praise us for being so caring and responsible by vetting so thoroughly. Then last night, one, vicious individual replied telling us to get over ourselves and that they could provide the most perfect life ever for him, but because he didn't match our ridiculous and oversold demands, that we had really p*ssed him and probably a lot of other people off too. I spent the rest of the night in tears tbh. Its taken all day for me to pull myself together and keep telling myself, that his life, is clearly far less rewarding or enriched with love than mine is.

The reason people can upset you so much is because you care. You care because you are a good person with a warm heart. Any person who can send such needlessly unpleasant energy in your direction, with no obvious gain or reason but to inflame or hurt, clearly is not a good person. Don't allow them to devalue your perception of yourself or the quality of your life.

Ramble here anytime. Friends don't mind :grouphug:

Well another zero day for me!!!! Boo!!!
Meeting up with two friends tomorrow who both are buying bits from me so that should give me a couple of day's grace. Did manage to sign up for bounts though so shall get earning on that by walking to work tomorrow....

Did you "buy the label" from egray ? - I never do - I take them to PO and post them 2nd class with Proof of postage.

I sometimes get messages saying "When are you going to post" - because they are used to getting a notification from the machine as soon as you buy the label, which means if you do happen to be late - they notify the punter of it. I notify manually, usually, but sometimes I forget. Occasionally we all get it a day late because we're working or family issues etc and if I am late I don't notify them of the postage. almost invariably the post is a bit quicker and they still get it in time. ;)I also give myself the "3 WORKING day despatch".

Another benefit of the PO dispatch is that the PoP they give you has the acual weight printed on it. I had one stroppy message from a woman I sold "1kg" of some loose material and she claimed to have weighed it at 200 grammes ! - I asked her to check her scales with a 1kg bag of sugar and she said she had, getting more irate all the time. She confirmed the package was intact, and at that point I told her teh PoP said I had posted 1.25 kg on such and such a date to her post code..

She shut up then with a "oh I'm not going to make a fuss over such a trivial amount " and left me very good feedback !

Don't stress yourself FC - If they leave bad feedback, you can just reply to whatever they say and say that a simple mistake on your part was no excuse for a tirade of vitriol And bad feedback was a bit harsh !

Keep at it lass - most of tehm are fine and normal understanding people - a few are just Keyboard warriors and scam artists - but no reason to lose sleep (or money bu not listing ) x

Thanks I am excited about bounts, I do love walking so hopefully I will get rewarded for doing what I would be doing anyway just made a PayPal sale so another £11 for the pot

About £11 on a small item, which I may get away with as a large letter and save a little bit more on today.

Also a weeks worth of logs cut and split.

Met an estranged family member in the church yard and passed a few pleasant words, so maybe - just maybe there's a glimmer of hope there !
