Has everyone seen the new free scratch cards on freebirthdatelottery. You get 20 everyday and day win between £1 and £10. I won £5 yesterday - only downside is that you have to win £50 before you can claim so may never get it! Still it's fun and free so why not, eh?

well done! I was going to give up as done 2 days in a row and not won anything, plus takes sooooo long.

There is a bounts referral board if anyone else wants to sign up. Please use it and leave your referral too.

I actually get a lot of referrals on bounts.

When you get enough points you can redeem for vouchers on the website

I`ll go and check that out Aesop. I got a load of bonus points for signing up/linking apps/starting out so I'm on the way. For the first 2 weeks I get free premium membership. In any case I can never get the maximum because I can't log into a gym (none here that do the bounts scheme). I should easily get the 7000 steps and 20 minutes on Strava.
    Trying to keep in budget.

well just got rejection email for school job, no interview :(

I have no idea how anyone gets interviews at school jobs, as they always ask for sims experience of which I have none. although sims is just a database and I have plenty of experience of that, more than most, as I used to used them at advanced level.

Oh well, start new job thursday. Just working out it is going to cost me a fortune in easter holiday unless can get friend to look after DS for free :(

something very strange, the email has disappeared! I have checked everywhere, spam, bin, trash, sent, important, etc and it is not there! I have emailed to ask if they recalled it as I wanted to show DH

    Hi Aesop,
Sorry you didn't get the interview, did you get any feedback? What I wanted to say was that Sims, as you would expect, is pretty simple though it does have its quirks. I stepped into covering a job at my son's school a couple of year's ago as an emergency and more or less taught myself after a couple of lessons from the disinterested office manager. Is there any chance that you could get someone in your new job to show it to you, or let you shadow them doing some of the stuff on there. Its not the same as experience, but it would allow you to say you were familiar with it.

ooooh maybe they sent it accidentally....fingers crossed for that anyway.

Just in case you do get an interview after all this might be useful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSVQ_G68AeM&list=PL8BeoM21AsMwUBeJfxBP__SfUH6xZfog7 and this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCGJugc-TmQ&list=PLLQoSdPedDrE1VZJMT3PxBW7dz8sosdcB
There seem to be quite a few videos on there which if you watched you could talk about Sims from a more knowledgeable perspective maybe?

I've earned £14 for writing an assortment of random items on Textbroker and done 5 mystery shops today for £55. I've got bids on a couple of my eBay items, added a few more last night. Also sold a book on Amazon for £3.60 after fees and postage.

Something strange though - I added a Buy it Now price on one of my auctions, as a buyer agreed a price with me. It came up saying the fee would be Free. I then went in to revise some other auctions, they also said Free for adding a BIN, so thought I might as well. Yesterday I realised that they had charged me 50p for each one! Eventually got a callback, very patronising eBay person who lectured me and pretty much said I was making it up but she did say they would refund me. Hope they do, as not making much profit anyhow on some of the auctions, could do without even more fees. I wouldn't have done a BIN on the other items, only did so as it said they were free, so felt misled.
