    Rampant Recycler Debt-free and Proud!
    Evening folks
Great seeing all the money-making happening :T  :T

Sorry not been on much this week but, because we go early Friday, I've been getting all the housework and general stuff done last two days.

All done, thank goodness, as the morrow is my 'be beautiful' day and am having hair cut and highlighted and nails done.

That then leaves me free on Thursday to do all the packing, make pack-up for journey and empty the fridge, check I've all the paperwork and download another couple of free books YAY !!

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

They seem to have changed the rules overnight! Now you need 'penguin points' to buy scratch cards. It told me I have 49 which is only enough for 2. So yesterday I had 20 but today I have 2 and it says you earn them by visiting pages on the site but that doesn't seem to be working. Oh well, it's still free but I'm a bit disappointed

they posted on the referral board under their business name and it was removed by MSE as they did not have mse permission to post as a business.

i had made a comment, which they were not happy about, but it is a fair comment. the site has tried to get too big too fast, by introducing different methods of winning etc. I KNOW these businesses rely on advertisers paying to advertise on their site to fund these ventures. that is how Chris from FPL did it. But he was sensible, he started off small and kept going with his own money invested originally, until it got more and more members, thanks to a poster on hukd. Then he could raise the prize pot a bit more thanks to the influx of members. And he has continued as his site has grown.

I did receive an email from the site explaining it was a family run business who had invested their own money, relying on advertisers, etc. but I know that. still entitled to my opinion and this does not mean will stop signing up.

I logged in daily and checked every single tab even if I found it monotonous etc because I understand it is their livelyhood and how important it is for them to have people checking in daily.

But to be honest a site that has too many pages to click through and does not make it easy to click to the next page/tab etc puts me off.

I know someone recently won on it, so that is nice.

But wish all these sites would stop trying to emulate FPL as he took years to get where he was, he didn't do it overnight! Take heed with any of these sites, start small and dont expect people to sign up and rememember to click in everyday! and if you have too many tabs people will get bored and give up.

Ooooh very nice :) is this a refund on monthly payments or something? I'm almost sure i paid them for months without knowing it years ago so would love to be able to claim that back ;)

yes it is. a case of cancelling the policy but they continued taking the payments.

give it a go FC always worth a go

sorry not been around. been at council with Friend all day yesterday, who has finally understood what i have been telling her for weeks.... her benefits have been capped at £500 a week under the new Universal credit programme.

she was shocked and now has to make some extreme life changes, but hey ho, am there to help her and she will get there.

she has my old slow cooker to start with :) and we have discussed meal planning, batch cooking, etc. will introduce her to musclefoods and approved foods too.

there is an aldi opening soon near to both of us, and it is within walking distance for her, so she will start shopping there more.

also told her to start cooking more like cakes, biscuits, etc to stop her kids snacking and eating her out of house and home.

    start new job tomorrow....
  • Good luck with the job Aesop.

Have I read your post correctly? £500 a week benefits?
