Breastfeeding and parking fine

Hello all,
Quick email to premier inn list of directors, passed to customer relations and ticket immediately cancelled with an apology and offer for a complimentary drink next time.
Unfortunately for all of you !!!!!! who think i should have to pay please try and breastfeed a screaming baby in an extremely small car when your latch isnt great or alternatively even remember your own name when dealing with a screaming baby (who by the way has to be fed completely on demand due to being under a paediatrician for weight loss) let alone thinking 'Oh mate btw put a ticket on my car' instead of trying to calm down the baby. How dare you suggest I was using my breastfeeding as a golden ticket... I was putting my daughter first over paying for my parking. I don't know if you're happy to leave your children to cry and go hungry whilst you prioritise other less important things but in my eyes that is neglect.
I wasn't disputing the fact it was a correctly issued ticket. I was parked there without a pay and display ticket on. Rightly so the guy giving me a ticket didn't know the circumstances in which I had abandoned my car. The issue was the hotel taking the ticket and agreeing to cancel it then me getting a phone call saying I would have to pay it.
The PPC was localparkingsecurity.
Anyway it is sorted now. Thanks for your help!
Well done,
A great quick result which you deserve. Enjoy that free drink
You have done every mum a favour as Premier Inn will be burning the ear of the scammer localparkingsecurity.
Very pleased for you0 -

I've got to be honest, given what the OP has said in both the original post and the follow just now, the PPC has not done anything else wrong beyond their mere existence. The ear burning should be squarely aimed at the manager of the hotel who broke the Equality Act.0 -

I would imagine there has been ear burning all round. Does not matter now, the lady won and that's why this forum exists0 -
well done on getting the ticket cancelled but perhaps if you are in such a stressful state as you say above you are not in a good place to be driving safely anyway.
All new mums are like that at times.
The worst drivers on the road are the very elderly, without a doubt, worse than teens as they are so damn slow and clueless about other vehicles, bikes & pedestrians around them that they cause accidents. Did you see the TV show about ancient drivers last year where the old crumbly guy very nearly drove right out in front of a massive lorry at a junction then laughed nervously at the camera? Awful.
The blame lies with the Hotel and they put it right.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do make sure that the hotel have properly cancelled the ticket - you need confirmation from the PPC before its completely dead.0

Ha ha at last a sweeping statement we can all relate to, yes cannot work out which are the worst the ones in the trilby hats or the ones wearing the flat caps on route to Morrisons to do a “spot” of shopping, some tea cakes, half an unsliced loaf and a pack of werthers originals!

Thank you.
I received confirmation from the Ppc that it was dead about 5 minutes after the email from the hotel.
Very efficient!0
