But it proves I sent it which covers me against them claiming it was never sent doesn't it?
It goes to an address in Wolverhampton.0 -
I agree that sending recorded delivery is a waste of time, and more importantly to anybody claiming benefits, a waste of money. I saw postal charges of £6 or £7 for recorded delivery and, as has been said by sammyjammy, it doesn't get it to its destination any faster. If you are really concerned, and are signing every fortnight, take it with you next time you sign and ask them to forward it in the internal mail system.
Recorded is around £2 I think. You maybe thinking of registered delivery which costs more.
My sole concern is them losing it on purpose which is something they have a habit of doing, especially when doing so means they can stop your money.0 -

Apparently they tip bags of mail into a giant shredder. These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0 -

just been looking through the form again and it is unclear whether you have to include a bank statement no matter what or if you just have to if you have over £5500.
I would- if they don't need it, no harm done. If they do, then you have complied.
Hand it in on signing.. That way you can proove you did.0 -
Wolverhampton is just mail handling site.
