Which 'this' were you referring to from the post you quoted? I can confirm that a security token is needed to transfer £1000 within online banking in one payment, but (before ordering said token) I was able to make four transfers of £250 one immediately after the other, so not the most restrictive of controls!
For the other points, I presume that the other poster meant that paying slips were needed specifically for paying in funds over the counter in branch and I have no idea what they meant by the significance of a 'financial day' but the vast majority of banks treat weekends as non-working days.
Thanks eskbanker. I was referring to both of those. I have managed to make the 2 £1000 payments so am hoping that is enough. I didn't need a security token to do it.0 -

Just received my £150 incentive payment! No dramas and no paying in slips requested. I didn't even know about them till I read it on here! I did pay £1000 in and out every couple of weeks though to make sure I didn't miss out by a day on the 31 day requirement.0

I (as with the earlier poster) was referring to a security token being needed to transfer £1000 out of your CB/YB account elsewhere, have you succeeded in doing that without the token?0

I followed the terms given here as I switched just after this was posted. I have met all the criteria I think. It doesn't mention paying any money out. ? I have set up the DDs and am about to pay my next £1000 in.0 -

You don't have to pay money out, people just assume you wouldn't want to leave it in if you can earn more interest elsewhere.0 -
To be fair, Clydesdale do publish the different transaction limits applicable with or without security tokens (£25,000 and £500 respectively) at http://www.cbonline.co.uk/personal/ways-of-banking/internet-banking/0

Oh I see. I did move some money back out but probably not more than £500.0 -
I received my £150 switching bonus today (the switch was done on or about 24th March). Very happy
Thank you to everyone on this forum for drawing attention to these deals - it's the first time I have taken advantage of one, and it was useful to have people explain the 'small print' clearly.0 -
Smile offer ends 31 May. Coop still says "can be withdrawn at any time". Although Coop are still advertising it in the press, so might last longer.0
