Allowed - yes.

Will you incur charges if it treats it as a cash transaction rather than a purchase - also yes.

Sorry, actually not allowed. Refer to Curve's Fair Use Policy:

"Curve does not allow you to pay off your credit card bills with an underlying credit card selected in the Curve app."

Yes, it was sorted. Wrong underlying card details.
