I know they don't.
But why should clean up some else cat poo. I don't have a cat for that very reason. I don't want to clean up cat poo.
Not being funny but unless you are cats are in the house/garden 100% of the time. How do you know for sure they are not doing it some elses garden.
I would never harm a cat on purpose. But just want to discourage them from using my grass as a toilet. They have there own gardens so use them not mine.

The amount I would need to eat would make me look like I have a fake tan :rotfl:
will try the bottle of water and the sticks with string and bits of tin foil on for the time being.

No offence traf, but the idea of water pistols appals me. But I don't have the problem. Foil sounds ok though
Water doesn't harm them ,but they don't like it .............I'm not talking pressure washers:eek:
I used a squirty bottle to train mine not to get on the kitchen work surfaces etc
they soon knew when it was pointed at them ...........didn't even need to squirt in the end:D0 -
I had the same problem and it drove me batty, thankfully I do have dog now but before that I went to Wilkos and bought one of those garden bottle sprayers for 89p. A twist of the nozzle and it sprays further than any water pistol i know. The best part is I just opened my kitchen window and blatted them (I had 2 to test me!!).0

But they're yours traf
I'd rather train my own pets too, but I don't have cats. (I might try it on the dogs that I own and love though)
No, I'm joking. Pets just seem to hate water for some reason. Why?
It costs us £20 to have one dog shorn of something that naturally belongs to her - her hair! But is that good or bad? She must be uncomfortable in summer
Maybe Debt_Free_Chick posted the right post in the wrong place? They cost a fortune!0 -

Well traf ....
After she'd rolled around in horse dung for a while, and she's scared rigid by water, something had to go. Unfortunately, for the dog, it was her coat
Bloody thing still costs more than I do to look 'acceptable', but at least the house doesn't stink of horse doo dah0
