Can even get a Freesat PVR if you wanted to keep it down to a minimum of remotes and boxes under the TV.0

Freesat PVR, only have a single lead system, do I need a 2 lead? Can it be split into 2?

Have you got two leads from your dish? I have a Humax Foxsat-HDR (which is old like your HD hence the comments about iplayer, which I don't use on the hummy but I did test earlier:o). Ideally with a pvr you need two feeds, so you can watch one and record one, and often you can record two and watch a third (assuming it is on the same mux). Having followed your thread I guess you don't generally record from the satellite, so I would go for a firestick/chromecast or similar if you have a TV with a spare HDMI port , of course you have not told us which TV you have and how you connect the Hummy to the TV .pistonvalve wrote: »Freesat PVR, only have a single lead system, do I need a 2 lead? Mike.
BTW I use my Foxsat HDR for recording and as a dlna player so that I can stream my recorded stuff throughout the house, or to take said recordings on holiday, not many set-boxes do that (albeit using modified firmware)4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Hi and thanks, I have one lead from the dish, my TV is a Sony KDL 32D3000 and from the Humax HD box to the TV I use a HDMI cable. I am not really interested in PVR but I like the idea of recording to an external HDD and playing back through the box?
I have had a reply from Humax Customer service:
"Thank you for contacting Humax. I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your Humax product. The 901 i player service is the old iPlayer which the BBC are phasing out and this maybe why they have not updated it. I would contact the BBC and they should be able to advise you further"
