GS and I went to local park, started raining as we were nearly there so we kept going. Tried to shelter in an old bandstand but park is on a hill top we were blown home when rain eased off. Lo. Like you yesterday Alfie it's been fine since.

I can't help but smile. When I started comping I didn't win anything for over four months then I had not one but three wins by mistake. A Chelsea DVD ( not Chelsea Fans) then I realised my brother in law is. Then I won hair straighteners! Another slip doing CTWs. My niece does hair and makeup so great for her. Third win champagne and we don't drink it! But a great gift for a friend who helped us out big time. Since then I have tried to be very careful entering comps.
Hope this is beginning of lots of wins for you April.

Just said to DH better start dinner. He asked was I feeling ill as its not four. I think I must have been thinking of you Rose with everything prepared and FireFly.

Haha, thanks everyone. Serves me right for not paying attention properly - I've learned a comping lesson today! After I pressed enter, I did think "it's not likely that I'm ever going to win it anyway, so it doesn't really matter..." Comping fairy must be messing with me!

My dad just retired last month and he was a gardener, so now he can have an appropriate gift to give him something to do in his new garden! :rotfl:

Was chatting to my mum and she asked if I had received an email off a photo mag we are subscribing to. Asked her who from so i could check my deleted emails. Didn't find what she asked for BUT had managed to delete a wem from 1st April for a prize I had won when we visited the photography show. It's a photo of my choice onto toughened glass up to 150cm by 150cm

Aprillady that's exactly what I thought as I clicked on the Chelsea DVD and hair straighteners! Turns out your win is ideal for your Dad. As FireFly and Sylvia says you'll find it's great to be able to share wins.

Becks well done on the photo win sounds great. It's really easy to miss emails when you're tired and

DD2 is not going to make it here with family, so we will have to visit them soon.

Rose hope you are feeling a bit better.

Well we didn't have a win yesterday but as good as. DH has been on Internet and found us a week's holiday at the end if this month in Madeira for £284 each. That includes flight, transfer there and B&B in a studio at a four star resort with Thompsons. We have friends from near Manchester going that week to another hotel, when we phoned them they said to tell DH to press the button to book. Holiday is less than half price. Wow.
