Had loads of TV and Radio vans in street all morning. Tata Steel is at the end of my street and just heard on news this plant being handed over to Liberty today. Hopefully they will keep it fully operational. Fingers crossed.

Oh thats good Rose, lets hope there are now job losses.

Waited in all morning for GK's to arrive, we usually go out for coffee and do the shopping on a Friday. She had slept in and decided to take them to swimming herself and didn't text until too late for us to go for breakfast so feeling a bit put out.. Sorry moan over.

Sylvia most of the workforce were laid off three months ago. They only kept a skeleton staff so that if a buyer was found steel production could start up again very quickly. Hopefully we will see a lot of the previous workforce re-employed.

Good news rose about Tata Steel plant being handed
over to Liberty. :T Fingers crossed that a lot of the
previous workforce are re-employed there again.

Morning everyone. Dull and damp here this morning. Was raining earlier. Think we are in for a wet weekend. Got mince on cooking for dinner and potatoes are peeled and in cold water. So organised for later. Right knee is not sore at all at the moment, left knee is. So trying to get things done while I can just in case lol. What a carry on.Hope everyone is well today.

Sun is shining away here and supposed to be a nice day. Tomorrow is supposed to have glorious sunshine all day - will believe it when I see it! Will get the rest of the washing dry anyway. I am fairly up to date considering we were away.

Morning all, wish this weather would get warmer, I don't know about anyone else but it seems cold for April. Have still got the heating on here.

Off to town to do the shopping we should have done yesterday. Think DD1 is up working most the night at the moment doing her Uni work and can't get up in a morning.

You seem well prepared to dinner tonight Rose, hope the other knee eases up soon for you.

Afternoon DS has just been in to deliver my bread milk, suet and a newspaper. He is now off to the Bookies to put everyones bet on for the National. As usual mine is a stab in the dark as I know nothing about horse racing. GK,s are at a birthday party in McDonalds until 2pm so he has an hour or so to himself as DIL is at work.
