Hope everyone is well.
Looks like we're in for a rainy week this week. We were hoping to take the kids somewhere as DH off this week but we still haven't got a car. Ours broke the day before dad died and we borrowed dads for a while until it was sorn as dad would have said... 'Use mine!' Was hoping it would be fixed by now. I think we are going to seaside on the bus though sometime

Morning all,


Had nice day yesterday but it stayed wet until evening . We enjoyed Nat Trust visit but didn't see much of the gardens or river walk.
Stopped at Loch Lomond where rain did just become drizzle but views weren't great. Will be following it this morning for a bit but still a bit wet and not forecast to dry up until afternoon. Hopefully OK at Ballachulish as we are supposed to have a nice loch view up there.
Did have a lovely swim at the hotel here which was nice and a walk around the village after dinner.

Hope your car is better soon wingo. Couldn't manage without ours!

Sunny here this morning and dry so far.

Do hope rain clears eatly for you Sheils. Shame you missed the views at Loch Lonmond.

Wingo hope your car is repaired soon. You forget what it's like without a car. Do hope you make it out for a day.

Here we have GS next four days. DD and SiL both can't have time off end of financial year. He was at child minders last week. So I think we will be dodging April Showers.


DD2 is also thinking of coming this week now they are all better but not sure if they have enough energy to get ready for journey with two little ones. If they don't come we will visit them next week.
