Morning, hope the painkillers have kicked in now rose. It's a wet start to the day here, windy as well. No getting out in the garden for me today.I hope you all have a lucky day.

it's good you've got lots of green open spaces near you,
much better for the young ones to be able to enjoy :dance:
where we used to live about 5/6 years ago they
had a city farm not far from us & it was amazing to
see how many inner city kids had never seen live farm
animals & home grown veg plots etc when the
schools used to bring them on visits!
was lovely to watch them learning & enjoying,

well, it's raining here & guess it's the
same for you all
so have only managed to quickly pop out & see
to bird feeders & nut house & am
staying in rest of the day

It's started to rain here too just now. GS looked out front window said its not raining. Wishful thinking.

Rose big hugs hope burning has eased off with pain killers. Not good at all for you.

DS and GK's are coming for dinner later. They want a curry with chips and rice.So it is all sorted and in the slow cooker on low. DS can sort the rice and chips when he arrives. Have made enough for him to take some home for DIL as she is working till 8pm. No rain here yet but by the looks of the clouds in the sky it is not far away.

Good morning all, was lovely and sunny a few minutes ago and was going to put washing out but there are some big black clouds now.

I think I must have been awake in sympathy with your last night Rose, I was away until about 4. I do hope you get some releaf from the pain in your knees soon.

Sound like you had a fab day out with the GS yesterday leanfun.

Hahahaa, I've just won a Weedol Power Sprayer from a competition I entered by mistake!! (The link from here took me to another competition and I didn't realise til I pressed enter!) Useful since I don't have a garden...I think my dad will be getting it!

Lol indie - the weather was the same for me yesterday,
beautiful for most of the day then the April showers
did their stuff! I had literally just finished mowing when
I felt the first few drops and managed to scuttle back
indoors before the showers turned into torrential rain. :eek:



Once that had cleared up, we had a beautiful evening
again. Ho hum!

The weather today started off with downpours, cleared
up to beautiful sunshine! Just a moment ago it was looking
iffy, now the sun's shining away again!

Very well done on winning the bird table from Country
Living! :T It all sounds very strange - I reckon too that
the driver was telling porkies! Hope it turns up this week
for you.

Crystal Palace Park sounds such an interesting place
leanfun. Sounds like a wonderful day was had by all.
It's lovely to have so many open green spaces too
nearby to you for peeps and children to enjoy. :T

Well back from town and washing now blowing in the wind.

Well done on your win April, I love it when I win stuff for the family, its my way of giving them a little extra than I can afford to give them for Christmas/Birthdays.
