Hi everyone, hope you are all OK today. We have had a wet day here but now frost.
Well done on your wins leanfun, that was nice of you giving it to the neighbour. Its amazing how much the price jumps up just because of a label.
Catch you all tomorrow everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Evening everyone, I kept trying to pop in and post but kept getting distracted! I've been sending parcels on eBay that DD is selling to safe up for her gym stuff. I like her thinking, she sells stuff she no longer needs to buy tracksuits and gymnastics equipment!
I don't blame you wanting to stay in fire**fly when it's wet and cold. It's actually been really warm here today but I've heard we are in for a freezing February!
Well done on the wins Leanfun :T That was lovely to give to your neighbour :A
Sylvia, I agree about the labels. My DH is terrible for it paying over the odds for a label when he can get a similar one in a cheaper shop, same quality. Son is the same now too. I used to when I was young free and single but DH is much older now and should be saving money!
Alfie, I haven't heard that word 'dreich' in ages! Hope it's much warmer now for you!
We've had a few break ins around here. My neighbours got broke in while they were in bed apparently! She likes a drink so I think she must have had a few that night and I'm guessing it was the night when someone broke our back fence and opened back gate as the dog was sniffing all over garden to say someone has been in. Cant have nowt for nobody! Thieving gits!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

Supposed to rain here too FF. Just dull and windy at the moment.
Good luck to you too.
You must feel safer having a dog wingo. Don't think many burglars go into houses when they hear dogs although most prefer empty houses anyway. The worry of being broken into is always there when we go away now as we have bother with insurance. The excess is over £1,000 on our policies . Looked for other ones but they wanted us to get an alarm and use our window locks all the time. Not scared about what they will steal (jewellery well hidden) but the damage they would do breaking in as we needed a new double glazed door last time.
Coming to your area on 7th and 8th February as we got 2 free nights there and have never really been in the centre. Hoping to visit Whitby etc on the way.
Hope everyone has a lucky end to the month.

Good morning everyone (from a very soggy New Forest)!
It's absolutely chucking it down here .... mild but soggy and it
looks like it's here for the day .... luckily I don't have to go out
anywhere today, maybe do some housework  or
something .....
That's awful wingo about your neighbours being burgled while
they slept! Plus the fact you (and Jasper :T) noticed your
back fence had been broken and back gate opened the following
morning! Thank goodness for Jasper - the presence of a dog
nearly always puts thieves off.
I agree sheils, it's the damage they do to your property too ...
they don't realise the trail of upset they cause when breaking
in and it seems they don't care either! _pale_
Well done to your DD wingo :T - love her way of thinking -
most definitely a MSE in the making! :money:
Hope everyone is ok - sending .....
for anyone who needs one.
Have a lovely and lucky Tuesday all and take care.

Morning peeps. Bit dull here now. Was brighter and sun was out earlier. I was in bed the night someone tried to get in to my house. It is frightening. They scarpered when I put house lights on. Police got the van which was stolen and also arrested one of the Bas###ds. They never got the other one but have an idea who it was. He had alibis galore which the police could not disprove. Could not do any more with security of my home. My insurance did not go up much but it still went up and I now have an excess. Any way on a brighter subject good luck with comps.0
